There isn't a doubt in my mind. I'm saying that those who bash high school coaches and even beyond are likely peewee coaches that "know more" than the varsity/college/pro coaches that actually get paid to do so. To clarify.. I'm not saying that coaches are mistake free. There are definitely coaches that are better or worse than others. I'm implying that there's often a lot more that goes into winning games than simply strategy/preparation. One being talent. And parents/fans often refuse to believe that their little babies just aren't any good. So coaches catch the blame. People need to realize that Bill Belichick is 71-80 withOUT Tom Brady. So.. is he a worse coach? Or.. did he have one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever take a snap? It wasn't very long ago that he was considered the best football coach to have ever lived. And I have no doubt that he knows more than I ever will. But.. know what I mean? Kind of like Phil Jackson. Who coincidentally has zero championships without MJ or Kobe/Shaq.

My point is that's ALL he comments on here. I understand that Nederland is having a down year, but constantly bashing them gets old. This game is pretty much predetermined. I don't think it will be an easy game for either but Newton should win handily. What excites me is the fact that this district has been looked down on by our neighbors to the north year after year with Newton being the only team that they took seriously. Jasper goes from being cattle DAWGS to being bird DAWGS this week as they head south to take on the Cardinals. I think the DAWG defense can/will keep the Cardinals offense to a minimum. Offensively, it could be one of those nights where Zy(Jasper QB) lights up the scoreboard. What yall think? take care.

You're getting your facts wrong. Abbott has spent $12M sending several thousand illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities. DeSantis spent $615,000 to send the immigrants to Martha's Vineyard. That said, it would've been more expensive for both states to pay to take care of them, so it's kind of funny to me how the cost of transporting them is the libs' big talking point.

BH will simply need to rise and play better vs. Lee. Yes, BH is definitely short handed, but that alone does not account for fumbles, missed blocks and missed tackles. No room for error in the remaining games, time to soar Eagles!

Dayton has a solid team this year. Good offense, good defense, good special teams & executed well. Respect to Coach Ware & his staff. Nederland did not show up at all for this game, looked like they were more focused on the homecoming festivities.

Coach Ware said give him 3 years and he was gonna turn the program around. He did just what he said!!

It’s there, they are young and haven’t learned how to play at the varsity level yet. Some of that is on them some on the coaches. Hopefully they can make that next step sometime this season or in the offseason and next year.

I agree completely about student athletes NOT being called out. They’re kids. I’ll abide by the rule about coaches, but it’s dumb. If a man wants to take on the role of coaching with all of its financial rewards, prestige, power, etc… and expects to bask in the glory and praise after wins, he/she should have to face the criticism when it comes. There’s a big difference between criticizing a kid who threw a pick versus criticizing a highly paid professional who made a questionable play call, or is even having problems after deciding to install a new philosophy despite the old one being pretty doggone effective. Should people stick “for sale” signs in his yard? Absolutely not. But should that man be spared from any form of criticism, too? I don’t think so.

The biggest false pretense going on in this case is the compassion the blue state liberals claim to have for these folks. Abbott and DeSantis put a glaring spotlight on their hypocrisy.
