It's funny seeing a few people from fanbases or a fanbase sour when they're not having the season they were hoping for. 😁

I don’t disagree that good coaches have to adapt. But I think you’re confusing a system with a specific scheme. Nederland’s identity has never been about running the exact same plays or refusing to evolve. It’s about the standard: discipline, fundamentals, toughness, preparation, accountability and playing for the guy beside you. Every generation is different, and obviously you have to put your players in positions to succeed. But there’s a difference between adapting your scheme to your personnel and abandoning the principles that made your program successful. That’s really my point. Nederland has never needed to have the most stars in the district to compete. They’ve historically maximized what they had and made 11 players function as one. Schemes change. Personnel change. Coaches change. The standard shouldn’t. That’s what I mean by “the name on the front, not the back.

Sure wish it was over. Tired of every other commercial each calling the other a criminal. Sick of the texts asking for donations. Election cycles have stopped having cycles.

Hate that this game is happening week 1 of district. There’s another week one game in this district that it’s looking like a playoff type scenario. We’re obviously talking hypothetical and I know alot can happen but the winner of HJ vs Sheppard could be for the 4th place and final playoff spot. I wish both of these games could have been the last week of the season!

A very bad one at that. Looked like a bunch of 3rd teamers.

Nobody won? Was it a scrimmage? 😇

I'm very happy I chose to stay home for this one. (even though I was looking forward to some Dave's Hot Chicken) But sadly, I can't take back the 3 hours from last night watching this one on my computer. I reiterate, nobody won this game last night. Lufkin just beneffited.

Yall ran up the score, bullies 🙃

Maybe I’m going out on a limb here but THINK he’s talking about Lufkin’s fanbase…

A lot and I mean a lot of folks on X are pretty unhappy with the changes made. My timeline is full of complaints.

I think they changed this rule

I couldn’t get the scores to update. Had to just put them in the chat. Plus, my TL app on my ROKU doesn’t work again after this latest change. Boots me out before I can even log in. They have some definite work to do…

NS was very very vanilla in the 2nd half. Lot's of backups.

So, the home team when to Beaumont and came from 10 down to beat United in OT after BU was off the week prior United goes to Lufkin and sets all kinds of records beating the Panthers SMH@HS Foosball. Gotta love it

I’m not sure what was worse. Watching this game, or watching paint dry. At least I got the pick ‘em right. Ha!

They both out there trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Game will be noon Sat unless Montgomery's game gets ppd then Montgomery gets the noon slot and Lake Creek gets the 5pm slot

Penalty wipes out tying TD

Punt fest tonight.

There's your first mistake. Apple product. smh

Best part of the viewing experience so far is the Lufkin Band. They look crisp.

My mistake, there are 2 studs on that D. One things for sure, it will all play out on the field. Hopefully they can steal a win from HF, WOS or Silsbee. Definitely have to beat HJ and Jasper.

Lufkin gametime has it on YouTube for free.

Had a coach text me a few minutes ago saying the football being played here matches the camera work.

Believe so.

Tell him to put some Frenchy’s on it, HE KNOWS! I TRIED talking some sense into him. However, I was talking to a 🧱wall!

I hate it All of it

I agree. The hypothetical games were fun to think about.

I hate it. All of it That's the post

Probably should've waited until the season was over to update things. 🤷🏾‍♂️
