2022 INFO- New head coach and Jasper alum Kendrick Crumedy returns home looking to take Jasper back to contention in Region III. The Bulldogs’ offense brings back seven starters, led by dynamic senior QB- Z. Simmons (898 yards, 10 TDs passing; 414 yards, 4 TDs rushing). Simmons will work behind a veteran offensive line. The defense returns four starters but there are some outstanding pieces in place led by LB- T. Smith (102 tackles, 16 TFL), who Crumedy says is an FBS prospect. DL- T. Garrett (58 tackles, 20 TFL, 6 sacks) is a pass rushing force off the edge.

Image result for BRIDGE CITY CARDINALS texas football

Bridge City expects to be much improved in Head Coach Cody McGuire's 2nd year, but making the playoffs in a district that features some Golden Triangle powerhouses WOS, Jasper & Silsbee will be a challenge. WR- B. Collins (19-275, 2 TDs receiving) will be the top target in the passing game, while RB- K. Garlaska (375 yards, 3 TDs rushing) will pace the ground game. The big question for the Cardinals’ offense will be who takes over at QB. CB- R. Hebert (2 INTs) leads the defense along with

The Bears were one of the state’s surprise stories in 2022, advancing to the regional finals under first-year head coach Eric Peevey. The question now is what will the Bears do for an encore? RB/CB Morris (1,811 yards, 22 TDs rushing; 36-434, 2 TDs receiving; 38 tackles, 6 INTs) is one of the top players in Southeast Texas and is the catalyst for the Bears. DE Washington (64 tackles, 21 TFL, 9 sacks) is a monster on the defensive line who holds multiple FBS offers, while DE Riley (64 tackles, 8 TFL, 4 sacks) is expecting a breakout season on the other side.

Huffman

This is the hidden content, please

2022 INFO-After two very strong seasons, Huffman has a lot of holes to fill with just three starters back on each side of the ball. New head coach Joey Buchta has WR/CB Tyler Wilkins (39-603, 10 TDs receiving; 32 tackles, 8 INTs) coming back & is a force on both sides of the ball, also was an all-state selection on defense. The Falcons will have one of the best kickers in 4A with the return of Jonathan Klepetko, who could be a weapon in close games. The big question mark for Huffman will be settling on a QB, where Tyson Woodland and Justin Evans will compete for the job.

West Orange Stark Varsity Football - West Orange Stark High School - Orange, Texas - Football - Hudl

2022 INFO- It’s a new era for the Mustangs as Hiawatha Hickman is promoted to head coach and he inherits a veteran team that brings back eight starters on both sides of the ball. A trio of two-way playmakers grab headlines for the Mustangs as RB/DB- Jamaal Shaw (287 yards, 4 TDs rushing; 5 INTs), WR/DB- Dakarion Judge (6 INTs) and WR/DB- Jailen Brown (12-183, 3 TDs receiving; 53 tackles, 7 sacks) all return. Judge had a pair of interception returns that were taken to the house a year ago. The strength for this team will be the veteran experience returning in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
