You have more faith in LCM than i do. We have 3 injured starting lineman that have been out since Lumberton game. The problem with LCM offense is that we are missing Landry with him running the zone read. Our current Qb is not pulling the ball and taking off. He's giving it morris every time. If we are going to do that might as well get in the wildcat. Defense wise we lost our linebackers and secondary the youth showed this year. If Peevy beats Kilgore give that man a bonus.

And if Silsbee doesn't turn it over and doesn't blow coverage on a couple of plays (mistakes), Silsbee wins by 10 or more. That kind of talk goes both ways.

The only point I was trying to make is that when it was the big game Jasper has been the underdog all year we were the underdog against HF we were the underdog against West Orange all I'm saying is Jasper has impressed me this year and I am very proud of my community and my team. Class of 95

I haven’t heard him speak enough to answer those questions. but like @tvc184stated it’s not how a person speaks nor debates but what said person votes on. House of Payne? Kid runs strong and can throw short passes. He brings the dymanic we are currently missing. The current QB did have a few good runs against huffman but if he struggles passing and refuses to run, Peevey needs to think of his program. The CHill game last year would've been much closer if he had that mentality. I am hearing we are back full steam for Kilgore as far as injuries go. Couple of kids from the undefeated JV and a certain freshman will be available. Heard he's a natural behind center.

I'll be on the sidelines for Diboll/Buna at Woodville Thursday night and East Chambers/Woodville at Lumberton Friday night. Love it when I can travel under 40 miles to get to playoff games.

The same refs that hosed us last year on a crosby td and 2pt conversion? or the clock operator that left one second on the clock that allowed them one more play to throw a hail mary for a td? The refs in this area are bad across the board for both teams, to act like are some advantage is bizarre.

I think he was a great President. He cared about America, if only for the edification of Donald Trump. If America did good, it made Donald look good. Regardless of the reasons, I thought he did great, but……..this was a boneheaded, dumbkoff move. It’s like something Biden would do (choke, gasp, gurgling).

A lot times what happens in High School Football depending on the size of the school is you’ll have injuries at the Varsity level an standouts on JV get pulled up to Varsity and Freshman get pulled up to JV to fill the holes. So your JV and Freshman teams are missing their keys players. So it’s hard to get a true barometer how good the JV and Freshman teams will be when they get to the Varsity Level. But it sure is a good sign for the lower class teams to win a lot of games for sure.

If I knew that they had confidence in their ability, I would too. Got to believe in your own ability. Got to put everything that has happened to this point, in the past and reclaim their tradition. Don’t listen to the nay sayers and believe in yourself.

If you are talking statewide, I would have to do some research. If just talking our coverage area, I'm on record saying WO-S will beat Bellville.

Tatum? He's a beast. Last season he struggled to stay healthy a sophomore. He was taking over in the playoffs, and I fully believe we beat Ryan if he didn't get injured in the 2nd quarter. DR literally could not stop him. Glad we have him back for another year. He's going to set some records at Longview before he's done.

Royal has played an insanely easy schedule. Two teams with a winning record. Squeaked by 6-4 Sealy 13-10 (Sealy got to beat all the same terrible teams in their district), and lost to Bellville 48-3. I think HF wins comfortably.

I’m not gonna go into detail about the schedule or really argue about it cause u only can play who they put in front of u, but let’s be real. That was not a murders row schedule!!! Maybe the last game was a quality win, but that was a team that seemed to throw to one guy lol. Now the season starts. In other words to the fan boys, my expectations are higher because they SHOULD HAVE BEATEN THE TEAMS THEY PLAYED!!! PAM have the talent to out play all those teams period and coaching darn near found a way to give some away lol

Well, in tournament play, it's not good to look ahead. Particularly a game that takes two wins to get to.

Loved Art. He was special and a good man. I helped with the WO-S/Silsbee game this year. Had a lot of fun. Was nice just to walk in press box, put on a headset and talk and not have to deal with the producing of the broadcast. Hopefully I can get this arrangement again in the playoffs.

The only thing that matters in what you said is that he wasn’t a bad President, I would say he was a good President. Why anyone cares about his ego or motives is beyond me. I don’t like the guy and I couldn’t care less if he likes me, he was a good President, that’s ALL that matters.

Probably top 10 there. Like you said the 2019 team just didn't feel right, but I think our view of Jesuit was a little jaded with just how much we dominated them in the past. Emmitt Smith's kid was legit and he hadn't been healthy at all that season. Then Kaden went down injured. Was just the perfect recipe for a defeat. At the end of the day, it came down to a kicker again lol. We go to OT if not for that one missed PAT in the 2nd Q.

you’ve definitely been watching longer than me & have seen a lot more teams come through than i have. But if this seasons team ends up bringing home another ring, idk what team i could put over them since I’ve been watching. I’ve never seen a lobo defense do what this one is doing. under 600 rushing yards allowed through 10 games is crazy to think about. A good number of teams had given up that many halfway through the season.

I saw a post this weekend, on another site, that Evadale doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. WHY NOT? We had goals set for this year, like every year. We wanted to win the River Bowl, win Homecoming, win the District Championship. God had other plans for us. These young men fought through many adverse circumstances. The most recent being an outbreak of the flu, which left us with only 18 for the Lovelady game. Did they quit? We know the answer is No, they did not. So now, we have achieved a team goal. WE ARE A PLAYOFF TEAM and we are 1 of only 64 teams left in our division. We may lose, but we are deserving of the chance to compete.

Just telling you Crosby folks, if you have never played in Longview, your in for a Lobo experience. Everything is Lobo there. The wolf calls and the Longview fans and band on the visitor side. Your down 14 before you get off the bus. The indoctrination is loud and long. Few visitors ever leave Lobo Country with a victory, and if by miracle it should occur, it will be a close nail biter because Longview never goes down easy. My prediction is Longview 56 Crosby 13. Longview is better than anyone you have seen this year or last year. Mark my words.

Barbers Hill beats Foster 3-1. (25-10, 17-25, 25-19, 25-14). 40-6 on the season. Most wins in school history. Congratulations to the players and coaches!

Lady Hawks did lose a great assistant coach in Omar Snead. He is now on the Lamar Women's basketball staff.

And HJ won by 27. Sneed and Beavers were both substantially better last year than the year before when HJ and BH played, and they still had Ashlon Jackson, who had offers from basically every major college in the country. I’m not usually one to play the common opponents game, but when HJ beats a team by 84 that barbers hill beat by 5, that has to tell you something. HJ beat another team by 83 that BH beat by 15. Almost the entire hawks preseason schedule was against 6A, and many of those were ranked, and they won several of those games. I’m not going back to figure it up, but I went through it last season and they had something like 4 wins against ranked 6A opponents and another 2 against ranked 5A opponents. They also had a couple of wins against ranked teams from other states, including the #1 team in all of Colorado at the time. Barbers Hill had a good team last year, but wouldn’t have even been in the top ten toughest opponents HJ played. Their schedule was full of close wins (and a few losses) against average teams. I didn’t realize Carter was back this year, which definitely makes a big difference, but last year against Ashlon Jackson and the hawks BH loses by 30.
