Nah he's that good, I would be more complaining about the Dayton defense if I was a Dayton fan, they're the ones that tried to give it away. Regarding the free TD, it's referred to that because it's not like Dayton had to put a drive together and go work for it, that was 100% Nederlands fault, but it's not like they had to go out there and earn it by putting plays together. Trust me that ineligible man downfield killed the Nederland W, and that was 100% Neds fault, so we know all about fair share of calls. Hopefully the Bulldogs can play with that kind of heart through the rest of the district, that Reilly kid did to Dayton what Foster did to us. Down 21 points and to come storming back is some old Nederland fight, that I thought had died off a couple years ago. Dayton will beat LC and Montgomery and give Huntsville a hard time.

I agree with you 💯!! Dayton should've put Foster in the slot on pass plays. There wasn't a Nederland defender that could stop him.

Best the North Shore offense has looked all season. Other than a couple questionable pass interference calls the North Shore defense played lights out.

Every time Nederland rolled out to the right to pass their receivers were wide open. Dayton did not adjust all game and had too many pass interference penalties. Pass defense has to improve, You should not have to score 61 points to win. Great effort by both teams.

After watching the game on TL the following morning, I think folks need to show some respect for Baytown Sterling. They are definitely a good team and one that can cause some issues for the rest of the district teams. I don't think Memorial will have too many problems with them, but Lufkin, West Brook and United will.

Very very impressed with Lumberton tonight. Raiders really dominated from start to finish. Lumberton came into the game averaging just 16.75 points a game, scored 45. Raiders averaged just 260 yards total offense thru 4 games, they had that and more in rushing yards tonight along with about 100 yards in passing. Huffman came in averaging 48 points a game, scored 22. Falcons were averaging 294 yards rushing per game but were held to just 70 yards rushing tonight. Their RB Bacon was averaging 177 yards per game and 12 yards per carry. Tonight, he had 56 yards on 19 carries. Raiders completely controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Both RB's for Lumberton went over 100 yards with Williams leading with 175. Lumberton only attempted 11 passes completing 6 for 100. Lumberton scored on their first 7 possessions (6 TD's, FG). Only possession they did not score on was the last possession when the backups played. Was the only time Lumberton punted tonight. Defensively was just as good. Solid line play and great tackling from all. Secondary covered well. Really kept this potent Huffman offense in check. All in all a great game plan from Coach McDonald and staff and great execution from the players. Just a great win for the Raiders. One has to mention (which we did in the broadcast) that strength of schedule really showed tonight. Lumberton was clearly the better team and you have to believe the tougher schedule really mattered. Congrats Raiders on a job well done.

One other thing hope #27 is okay and #99 left the field after the game on crutches, hope they both recover quickly.

There is absolutely no reason for anyone to complain or be negative about the state of Lamar football. But the ultimate site "realist"(pessimist) will most definitely find something to whine and complain about. Coach Rossomando is doing a great job.

After reading alot of this hoop-la and scutter about this game I got to put a plug in for Dayton. First of all Dayton didn't get any free TD's you can't punish a team for playing smarter than the other team. Then you have some peeps say Daytons RB( Foster) isn't really all that ' it just that Neds defense made him look good. For the record this was one of his down games he usually puts up better numbers and thats against 5a1 playoff teams. Dayton came into a hostile environment played hard and played smart and came out with the win and thats the bottom line. You can cry about a snap shot but in the scheme of things Ned got their fair share of good calls too !

We have been on the wrong end of one of these also. In OT, in the playoffs, but ours was a little better defined with the one being down. We know how yall feel.

I'm not questioning the Huntsville field goal decision, although I probably would have gone for it myself. I did however question PNGs play calling at the close of the 1st half. That long pass into coverage was silly, and not necessary with over a minute left. Anyway the game was definitely a tale of two halves.
