I agree 100% especially with the “to each his own”. That is not how it is being presented however between individuals. I understand the corrupt politics. This has caused individuals to call at each other out as if they were the problem. I am so conservative and far right that I’m about to fall off the planet. I did not take the vaccine but my wife did. I kind of get tired of many conservatives saying that if you took the vaccine or you wear a mask you’re a part of the conspiracy or are you a sheep or whatever. I wonder if you wash your hands frequently and try to stay away from people, if that makes you a sheep. I don’t care if you take the vaccine. I don’t care if you refuse the vaccine. The argument but should be with the corrupt politicians trying to use this true pandemic as a means of a takeover, not with each other. I bet that I have read 1000 comments in various forums where people say that there is no pandemic and this whole thing is fake. It makes me wonder who the sheep are……

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gilbeau play primarily in the nickel in college. Great athlete but doesn’t look as fluid as Vincent in coverage. Kirkwood got him on a double move for a td too but was overthrown. I think his ceiling is probably PJ Locke which ain’t bad at all.

If you think that WOS didn't some part in what happened, then you weren't at the game. There was constant back and forth from both teams the entire half. The craziness really amped up when a fan got involved. WOS has a ton of potential, but can they stay disciplined and out of foul trouble. Not much depth, especially at the post. Lots of guards, but can they cut down on turnovers and make outside shots. It will be an interesting district race for sure, but IMO there is no way that WOS can contend with Silsbee. I believe that 2-5 is up for grabs.

None of that type of crap has happened in recent years, like since 2000. So that’s 20+ years with Mathews at the helm but to your point I do recall Nederland vandalizing Vidors school before they had to come play us not too long ago. I also remember Lumberton doing something similar in the late 90s to Vidors field. I can’t recall the Pirates doing anything like that to anyone else’s stadium, school or field. We are an easy target because of the past so ignorant people take advantage. I don’t discredit your story though, maybe something like that did happen 30 years ago but I seriously doubt anyone was throwing beer bottles at your busses at the high school.

Stuff like that happening Vidor never happened when I went to school in Vidor and I moved here in 1991 and graduated in 2005 and I can vividly remember that we have never done that during my era of time in Vidor and Mathews surely would never put up with it himself.

I attended the TC vs Clear Brook game and came away impressed with Bell at RB.Clear Brook rallied in the late 3rd and 4th quarters to actually take a lead.The left handed quarterback from Clear Brook started hitting his targets and the TC secondary couldn't shut him down.Alot of TC problems in this game could have been because of it being their 1st real game.Bell slowed as the game went on ( he's going to be in better Condition ),the pass rush couldn't get to McCallister,the kicking game was terrible.There's points to be made in the kicking game.All these could easily be solved.Kicking game maybe not so,same players as last year.TC's Duran can throw the ball so TC isn't one dimensional.Garcia on the counter out of the flanker position was a HUGE weapon for TC.A team over aggressive will get burned on this play.Stay at Home ! I think TC is definately in the running for a playoff berth this year.Injuries will determine their chances.

I think the team that lost by 28 to the same opponent that the other team beat by 15 is better. I mean 43 point difference against same opponent one week apart totally means nothing.

I gotta ask if WOS looked sharp and disciplined how in the world does their next game end early in a rumble. Also HF loses to Nederland and Memorial and are tabbed as your district favorites? I don’t see anyone challenging Silsbee in that district and the other district will have a shared title.
