Competition was close and came down to the final week. Congrats to all the winners. Thanks to all 46 players. We'll have another chance to gain bragging rights over AggiesAreWe next season. Tulane and JMU in the CFP is a joke. ND, Texas, Vandy, BYU deserved it way more than those 2… didn’t even bother watching either. Watched the NFL games instead

I just don’t understand why anti-Trumpers on the fraud investigations just don’t say, “Good, if there is fraud going on it should be found and fixed, and those responsible go to jail.” I can only go on what I have witnessed, and I remember folks selling foodstamps for 50 cents on the dollar…..they have cards now, and I can think of several ways to turn that balance on the card to cash…. So, I personally think there is fraud in every government handout, and even if it is a small percent, investigating and fixing the problem will reroute that money to someone who actually needs it.

Special thanks to SETXsports and Aaron Ward @RonWithTwoAs for providing audio broadcast for WOS this season. Many fans were thankful they were able to listen while at work Friday afternoon. Mustangs finished another historic season in Arlington. Although the results weren't what we wanted, it was as expected. Coach Surratt has been unstoppable. No other team in Region 3/4 was going to do any better. Coach Hickman should be commended for reinstalling the powerful defensive front that has turned the program back in the right direction. Defense wins championships. Well, only when the offense has the ability to score. Silver side of the ball still needs a boost. Cant be one dimensional at state and expect to out athlete the competition. The first drive showed us all we needed to see. After methodically moving down to Carthage 16. 4th and 6 call was a play action rollout with only TE as possible target. Great drive ended in nothing. Gotta put one in the air on that play. Nothing to lose. If they get an interception its same as turnover on downs. With 15 assistants for 42 players it shouldn't be hard to have one on one coaching. Especially since we only have 1 QB and 1 kicker. Obviously we still have some weak links on the staff. "We see everything and forget nothing." And just like the 1st 2 years of the experimental defense. Some of them still havnt shown they can adjust or improve on what has worked. Jefferson is a talented young man that will not be here forever. He has the ability to make almost any play work when his number is called. His record breaking season and career rushing yards is unbelievable. Not taking anything away from his accomplishments. But it's somewhat misleading about the history of our RBs and somewhat telling of our style of offense. (Pro-Style???) #4 carried us through the 4th quarter and won games in the waning minutes of the contest. Years ago we would be able to shut down the starters earlier in the game. Meaning they only played 70-80%. Also having more balanced offense meant the QB and WR had more production. Taking some of the load off our stable of powerful backs. Regardless of the past mistakes and the division that Harris pushed us all into. We have arrived once again. Now to see how the pieces fall into place for next season. Losing some starters and bringing back some keys to success. This is WOS, not the old Win-One-Soon. Now the expectations are to win championships soon. That defense for years was known as the "chain gang defense" suddenly one season it offended some one and became known as the "blue link" defense. SMH!

Proof they still can’t get it right. Neither has no business being in the playoffs. Time to put the best 12 in.

Trump’s been signaling a return to Monroe Doctrine since his first term. That’s why he’s been pressuring Europe to spend more on their own defense. That’s pure MD philosophy. Like I said, people just can’t seem to connect the dots. I’ll admit to having a little advantage in some government activities. But, it should be becoming pretty clear to all by now with a minimal amount of effort.

I have read some on the subject, but you explained it better than what I was reading.

Basically, Venezuela owns natural resources of crude. They weren't capable of refining it and turning it into petroleum products--including oil. So, they arranged business agreements and leases with American oil companies. Venezuela supplied the crude to the American refiners and made their money off those sales. The American refiners did their refining, and produced the petroleum products and derivatives. At that point, the resulting products were owned by the respective refiners. The assets used to produce said products were owned by the refiners, and the land they sat on was under contract to them as a long-term lease. Venezuela seized those assets, and the resulting products and technology when their economy was in a shambles. They broke the land leases. The refiners weren't compensated for their value, and still haven't been to this day. The oil in the tankers is refined by the seized refineries. Technically, it belongs to the refiners until they've been fairly compensated. The Trump Administration has also--apparently--been tracking 30-40 tankers that are violating sanctions against Iran, and these first 2 tankers are among those violating the sanctions. Trump--and media chatter boxes--are conflating different things. First, crude is the natural resource owned by the Venezuelan people--not the refined petroleum product if it came from a seized refinery. Second, the only reason oil is in the conversation is because it's being used as leverage to remove Maduro's regime, which is very friendly with China and Russia, and the Trump Administration is trying to block any further advances by those militaries into our direct hemisphere. He is using any justification necessary to accomplish this goal. Personally, it would be easier to just stick with the sanctioned oil being sold to help fund the drug cartels via government proxy story, and be honest about removing Maduro and why. Yes, drugs are a major reason. But, also explain to the American people the advances by Russia and China. Most aren't aware at all. Some media--and others--are too shallow thinking to see these issues even though the renewal of the Monroe Doctrine was just verbalized a couple of weeks or so ago. They only focus on the oil angle, and can't even get that part right. NOTE: No AI was harmed or used in the creation of this post. Merely a brain and experience.

Just thought I’d put this here. It’s just something I ran across. I was blessed to be able to watch Ryan play for my Astros. You Ranger fans should enjoy this too. Nolan really was the best ever and a class act on top of that. Any baseball fan should like this. Hope y’all got to see him play. He was amazing.
