Has there been another score? The Hudl camera just cut off at 2 hrs... I want my money back

Do we have video for this?

From a long time Mustang perspective. This Nederland team is nowhere close to what I'm used to seeing from the Dogs. Mental errors, poor execution, turnovers, penalties, overall sloppy play? These are NOT characteristics of the Neumann era Dogs. You could always bet they were going to be sound. They weren't gonna beat themselves, turn the ball over, have stupid penalties. You knew they would be disciplined and prepared and you'd have to be the same to get a win. Not that way now from what I see.

Any stats on him from last night? I was hit and miss watching. Looked like he was throwing off his back foot a few times.

Deliberate and blatant personal foul on #3. Same type of thing that happens repeatedly every game. Usually in big moments. It has been an epidemic for the last several years. Kind of went away during the title run last year. Thought maybe these seniors figured out that the TEAM is more successful when you put it first and not your feelings. Guess they forgot over the offseason. Back to "me" play again.

That's why that problem don't go away.

They threw it in the scrimmages. Newton plays defense differently. Hooks called it "Russian Roulette". They crowd the LOS and rush more than you can block in a spread set. Doesn't give you much time to throw, especially downfield. It's also why they gave up multiple TD's of 50+ yards. If you break the LOS it's trouble... thus "Russian Roulette". Hoping to see the pass re-emerge this week.

I'd be astonished if the spread was that large.

Newton gonna be fine as always. Was impressed with the overall team speed. And #3, wow! He got a motor on him.

#21 Levi does a great job of backing him up. He'll get a bunch of carries in less competitive games. He broke one last night.

Wasn't defense supposed to be their strength this year?

Where's all the Nederlanders? Work night?

It's on now.

Strange

It still hasn't started on Texan Live...
