I started deer hunting as an adult. Within a single box of shells I was putting 3 rounds inside of a silver dollar at 200 yds. It's really not hard with a decent gun and good optics. It's also worth noting that this shot had to be a miss that got lucky. From the angle it came in it was likely supposed to be a head shot that was several inches low and happened to catch his neck.

I agree. I don’t support the Democrat party whatsoever. But I’m not going to lump all Democrats into the same basket. My father-in-law, who passed away a couple years ago, voted for Joe Biden. He was afraid his benefits would be cut if he didn’t. He was scared. Old, frail and scared.He succumbed to his illness, and it didn’t really matter at that point. Regardless, he was a Democrat and one hell of a man. He didn’t agree with everything the Democrat party did, just like I don’t agree with everything republican. The people saying I hate all Democrats or I hate all Republicans are what’s wrong with what we have going on today. I don’t agree with the radical right or left. I lean pretty far right, but not to the point of wanting to take someone’s life or injure someone because I don’t agree. I think most Democrats are the same way. We just see the looney far left and think that all Democrats are like that. Well, they’re not. Misguided as they are, most Democrats don’t want to kill anyone over their ideology or beliefs.

I’m not caving into anything. I’m just sick of a crap and the back-and-forth. I never said the left and right are morally equivalent. I simply said there are issues on both sides, and until both sides come to terms for that, this is not going to end. And sadly, none of us can’t identify where the problem is because we’re too busy pointing fingers at the other guy.

Righties on X were screenshotting celebratory posts and posting them and tagging people’s employers asking if they shared the same views as their employees all last night. And I’m going to be honest, I think it’s great. One of the biggest issues we’re facing today is that the fringe lunatic left was able to do and say literally whatever they wanted for a decade, often encouraged to do so by their political leaders. Never being held accountable for abhorrent behavior leads to more bad behavior. It honestly is likely playing a part in these assassinations and assassination attempts. When you’ve had it ingrained into you that the other side is the devil, while simultaneously being allowed to act however you want, it’s no surprise that some take it all the way.

He was a rising star, he had great political potential. He could have been our President at some time in the future. Everybody asks "WHY?" The seeds of this was planted in the recent past, and when TDS went unchecked in the "mainstream" media, unhinged violence is sure to follow. I remember Madonna screaming to a crowd "We need to blow up the F###ing WhiteHouse" after Trump took office, and D-lister so called comedian Kathy Griffin holding up a severed, bloody, decapitated Trump head to the adoring crowd. No accountability ever followed for either one. Then there was not one but two Trump assassination attempts. These lefties are not just sick, they are plain EVIL.

Highly doubtful this was a hit. There's this weird disconnect where the right wants to blame the left for radicalizing millions of leftists with their propaganda and rhetoric (I'm not arguing that point, it's obviously happened), but then every time one of those goofy nuts takes action a lot of the right refuses to believe that they could possibly have acted on their own accord. It's always a "conspiracy", a "hit", or some other crazy idea. There are literally MILLIONS of libs who hated Charlie Kirk, who fully believed he was a nazi, a fascist, a racist. I saw a study that I wish I could find awhile back that showed that a MAJORITY of gen z lefties think violence is justified when hearing opposing viewpoints they deem problematic. It's really hard to wrap my head around the fact that the majority of a whole generation of democrats find violence acceptable to combat words. And then add on top of that the fact that any POV that goes against what they believe is immediately labeled "hate speech" or "racist" or "fascist." A big conspiracy isn't needed when you have radicalized nuts all over the place sitting around like ticking timebombs. If anything, I'm surprised these things haven't happened more often.

Somehow, the bolt action rifle found will morph into a "high powered assault rifle". The role of social media for clicks will never be discussed, nor will the role of corporate profits in our news organizations. Very few will probably question how safe their kids are walking across college campuses all across this country, and First Amendment freedoms of free and open face-to-face discourse will take another hit. The gun control discussion will take front and center, and distract from everything else. Then, not only will we have lost the First, we'll again be in danger of losing the Second. The deer rifle will become an automatic weapon of war--with an oversized clip--within a week.

Its highly disproportionately the Democrats and left that is violent. There was no assassination attempts on Clinton, Obama or Biden. They tried to kill Trump twice, and shot up Steve Scalise and the Republicans at a softball game. Cops and ICE are attacked daily and sometimes killed.

Scary indeed. Of course, I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention that Trump didn’t order flags at half staff for the Minnesota lawmakers’ deaths. This is the kind of stuff that gets fringe people inflamed as well. It will be blasted over MSM. He has a way of stepping into it.

FBI has basically stated that this was not a professional hit. Too many clues, including the gun, was left. Pros do not do that. Their profile is a rouge person who just happened to be a skilled shooter. But, being that he hit Kirk's neck, not that skilled. Pro would have made the head shot.

Guess I dont pay enough attention to politics... didn't even know who he was or stood for. I get updated by the lil bit I pay attention from here and smoaky.. made it home yesterday and first thing I saw was manhunt so I started looking into it.. That being said exercising your 1st amendment shouldn't get you murdered. Sad times we live in Now I see many ppl calling for war... lets get it lets go.

Nothing on you. I’m pointing out how the MSM will spin this as a gun problem. If you follow the tag, those are the stories it leads you to… Much easier to fall back on gun regulation than to confront the actual truth.
