And you're basing all that off of what?!?!... Last season? You do know that previous seasons have no bearing on the current season, right? Injuries, grades, etc. can affect a season. Prime example BC. Are they going to be as good without their star player... doubtful.

You can't see it... All you like to do is hate on Vidor. You have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about. So, take your 7 year rule and go hate on another school.
-
From what I know, they are all playing. This year should be good. Next year should be a really good... IF they all play.
-
Vidor will surprise a lot of people this year and next year. The juniors at Vidor have won (dominated) since Little League, and I do not see that changing... especially next year. **IF all kids play and do not opt out to pursue baseball (next year). The reason I say that is cause all the skilled position players on the football team will more than likely all go play baseball somewhere.

Too many people are overthinking. It's not rocket science We live in Texas... Texas did not become hot and humid overnight. Been this way for a bit now, and common sense would tell people the best ways to beat the heat are... work earlier in the morning or later in the evening, drink plenty of fluids (not just water), rest periods in the shade (Pop-up tents), misting fans, have trainers walking around passing out cooling rags, wear lighter-colored clothes, have talks with parents about making sure their kid(s) are hydrating at home, getting outside to acclimate to the heat, etc.

I think what Pine is trying to say is that kids need more outside exposure before practice starts, and he is right! Kids need to get out from in front of the TV, computer, gaming console, etc. Being acclimated to the heat before practice starts would help every kid.

NO one sticks to the topic at hand. Someone posts something and then it turns into a war of words or a war of memes. Have your two seconds, then go on about your business. There are bigger things to live for than politics. If politics is that much a part of your life, then you need to step back and reprioritize.
-
Why does it have to be a "mental contact sport"... Why can't people agree and/or disagree and go on about their business?

Why even debate politics? Believe in what you want to believe in and let others believe in what they want to believe in.

It's a crying shame that we/us as a nation, live and die on every word one man says. What happened to loving your neighbor, minding your own business, and living life?? All I see now is EVERYONE fighting about this and that... Does it really matter that much? NOOOO! Turn off the damn news and go on about your business. Tell someone with different beliefs hi and go on. Life is too damn short to be fighting/arguing all the time! FYI... NO one is right when it comes to fighting/arguing and trying to prove a point. **I voted for President Trump (both times).

I beg to differ. I graduated from Vidor in the 90s. I was in school and played when Vidor had the pleasure of playing North Shore, WB, Central, LaPorte, the Baytown schools, etc... and we did not avoid the program. The sidelines were packed with players. We looked forward to two-a-days, we looked forward to Friday night lights. Also, had the pleasure of playing for Vidor in its first year in 4A (20-4A). Again, the sidelines were packed with players. Never mattered to us if we went 0-10 or 5-5... we packed the sidelines with players. So, to me the decline in players is due to current coaching. Players want something new. They are tired of the same old offense. They want to be able to throw and catch. They want to be excited. The late, great Dan Hooks once said... You'll know when you're done playing Vidor because they'll hit you in the mouth for 48 minutes.... That was said back in the 90s.
-
Exactly. A coach needs his players, and his players need a coach. You CANNOT be successful without each other... You CANNOT sustain success without each other.
-
Ohhhhhh No... Your 7 year rule is written in stone. It's 110% factual information. So, you can't say "can't 100% answer that"
-
And every kid that has played for him during those 11 state titles has all been from Carthage? No extra Jimmys and Joes... all from Carthage
-
You remind me of one of those people who can't accept when they are wrong. They keep trying to prove their theory, and all it does is dig a deeper hole. Just stop because you know damn good and well that PNG's staff, Carthage's staff, is not rolling into Vidor and winning WITHOUT the help of Jimmy's and Joe's transferring in.
