You're probably right, but I think being a heavy underdog in this matchup, Vidor needs every advantage they can to have a chance. Plus, since Vidor ditched the pistol and gone back under center, we've had alot more success moving the ball the last 2 games. So, the novelty of surprise isn't totally gone yet, especially if Lindale hasn't faced us yet.

Lindale is good, but as Realville pointed out, not unbeatable. Everyone has an off day. Jenkins (their RB) could have an upset stomach & fumbles 3 or 4 times. QB has an inner ear infection and throws 5 interceptions. Looking at the scoring in that District, they definitely emphasize Offense. We all know if Vidor can move the ball & eat up the clock, Lindale won’t be scoring any 42 points. If the Pirates can’t, yeah maybe.

Should be a good game to practice tightening up the defense.KWP is not a threat on the ground, but the QB is pretty agile and can sling the rock around. Like BH the week before I think the Indians will come out and take some frustrations out on KWP , I look for a blow out win for the Indians

HJ should have never beat OF.With about 4 minutes left in the game they scored 13 to send it in overtime.Fumbled in OT but OF did the same thing when they got the ball.HJ scored and held OF.But it's 2020.lol

Well the 1 & 2 seed in our district only scored 15 & 21 against us. 21 in the shot-t and 15 under center. Jasper scored 30 on us in the shot-t an that last touchdown was late in the 4th quarter after we were beat up with injuries. I don’t believe Lindale gets 42 unless we start turning the ball over. Shoulda, coulda, woulda but if the refs don’t absolutely hose the Pirates last week and call back a legitimate touchdown. Vidor is the 2 seed going into the playoffs the way things shook out, shame. Maybe we make a game of our matchup though and get lucky with a few breaks to pull off the upset. The defense is going to have to play lights out though, the teams in that district puts up 35-45 points a game.

problem is that the truth HURTS. in a world where everybody gets a trophy parents don't want to hear that JV and below games are nothing more than a glorified practice. don't get me wrong practices are important just not the SCORE. the only scores that matter are at the VARSITY level.
