Yeah that’s one thing folks don’t realize BH doesn’t hang around in a class long enough to make much of an impact. Every time we start competing it seems like we’re on to the next division 😩 then the growing pains come again. I think we have been in this division for 10 years now and went from the smallest to now one of the biggest in Div2. Crosby seems to be growing as well so we may both move up soon.

Kilgore ran all over them. What did they have 500 yards and 40 points? Is Vidor as good as Kilgore? Probably not. Can they be a very good team for one game? I think so. Are the defenses any good in that district? Maybe not, look at the scores. Do they have powerhouse offenses in that district? Maybe so, look at the scores. We were down 35-14 at the half. Their rb was killing us. But we kept pounding. If I remember correctly we scored 35 in the 3rd quarter and 42 straight before winning something like 56-41. That may not be exactly correct but its close.

i feel like a PAM win wraps up a playoff spot after Friday night. If LP some how come out strong and beats BU, a PAM win next week against RSS gives us the DC.

Seven Armstrong, Norris Taff. Seven is really the one I was impressed with. His record at Corrigan Camden was good and I believe he was integral in Livingstons uptick.

If it doesn’t matter then why do Head Coaches, Offensive and Defensive coordinators, and not to mention position coaches travel to JV games? JV matters because you have to reload not rebuild. You have to see what you will have next year and see if those JV guys who are scout team all week can take what they learn in literally 1 hour 1/2 athletic period while Varsity watches film on Monday to practice their game plan. After that they are the team Varsity is playing until Thursday night. Any coach I’ve talked too cared about what is happening from Middle School, freshman, and JV not just Varsity. If your Athletic Director and coaches aren’t vested into the athletics programs as a whole then why coach in the first place. I commend all the wives/dads and kids of coaches for allowing them to do what they love. Yes it takes time away from the family. What I’ve always noticed in the communities I’ve lived in? Those wives/dads and kids are at the games supporting their wives/dads.

Watched some film on LaMarque. They will have trouble scoring on Silsbee. #73 for Silsbee will cause them lot's of problems. LaMarque does have some speed on defense that could hurt Silsbee but as long as the Tigers play well and limit turnovers, Tigers should cruise thru this round.

Texan Live has all playoff rights to video broadcasts. Schools or other entities that were doing video broadcasts during the regular season will not be allowed to do playoff games without the consent of Texan Live. I know some schools and entities do not know this and will try to broadcast. Good luck with that.

Was told that not only the RB was a D1 prospect, but they had a D1 on defense too. That’ll make the victory even sweeter (if the Pirates should win 🙏). One thing for sure, if Lindale wins the game, I hope Lindale wins it, and not the Zebras (see Huffman game).

I wonder when Mr. Nelson will figure out that running a 3 down lineman defense against 5 o-lineman, a lead blocking back and a running QB doesn't work? BH knew exactly what our weakness was and game planned for it. We came in running the same crap. No adjustments. No film watching from what it seems. Just lineup and get ran over week after week.

I coached for over 10years at the HS level, 5A and 6A schools, and it mattered. If it didn’t then why even keep score. JV is the last time some of those kids will ever step on a field in a competitive environment, and as a parent, if I thought the coaches that I trust to spend more time with my kid than I do for 4 years, we wouldn’t be there so they damn sure better care, if not, they would only be doing a disservice to themselves, by not having those irrelevant JV kids prepared for Friday nights.

Dumb statement! It means a helluva lot, to the kids who workout all summer, take their lumps day in and day out while running scout team for the Varsity. To the parents who sacrifice their time, to get the kids to and from 5am practices, having to deal with a kid who hates to lose and comes home mad and doesn’t speak for 2 days Bc he didn’t play as well as he thought he should. And from a program standpoint, winning at all levels is the goal, to set an expectation of winning being the standard. I could go on and on, but you comment is asinine, and doesn’t deserve anymore of my time.

Coach Josh Finney is one of the best coaches in Texas, Hull-Daisetta was privileged to have him for 3 seasons. I’m proud to call him a personal friend of mine, good man and great family. Players coach.

Nobody’s falling apart scooter. Be patient an let the process play out. Only State Legislators can change the voting laws which did not happen in a lot of the states in question with all the garbage ballots. We’ve listened for 4 years about Russia,Russia,Russia from the Democrats only to find out it was a coup from the Obama/Biden Administration using the DOJ and FBI to spy on a incoming and current President. Al Gore didn't conceded the 2000 election until December 13th. Democrats (and the media) all backed him in his legal challenges and celebrated his resolve not to give in. And that was just because Flordia didn’t know how to count. This ridiculousness goes way beyond that an it will come out.
