WOS has never been as big or bigger than PNG and are 20-9 all time vs PNG. That includes beating some very good PNG teams, including the year we went to state in 1999. Something is different at WOS and it’s not enrollment.

Spidey---maybe some of those young kids will continue to get better? All programs have cycles of success and down years. That's high school sports. When you have good coaches and a good group of kids, enjoy the ride. When your team struggles, circle the wagons and encourage them to get better. Regardless, if those kids put on your school's colors, love them, encourage them, and support them. On my side of the tracks, if our kids struggle, I hope all Indian fans will love them and encourage them to compete and get better. Tearing them down on a public forum isn't helpful or supportive. Take the next two weeks, heal up, get better in practice, and go compete in district. Good things just might happen. GO INDIANS! Peace.

The statement was they hired a Dline coach with no head coach experience and no one should expect that to work. I stated that Silsbee hired an Oline coach with no head coach experience and it is working out just fine. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't but Silsbee is one of the situations that disproves that it never works.

Where to begin? This was good loss. This was learning experience. This is something we can take with us into district. Knowing we've played a top tier team to the best of our abilities. We knew it would be tough to split the first 2 games. LV was an L. Now the next 2 htown games we'll be lucky to split. 1-2 turns to 2-3. Enter district with Jasper for Homecoming. I understand the restrooms even have a/c. Haven’t been able to take Mama to an actual game yet. Only a pep rally. As nice as everything is & handicap seating, elevators and all, she still has to have assistance in the restroom and there’s no family restroom. But, you can’t accommodate everyone all the time. We can still watch from home. So, that’s good. She misses the bands though.

I will make this one comment on the “both sides are guilty” argument. Big girl says that we celebrated Trayvon Martin and George Floyd’s deaths. That’s the biggest racist lie in the world, but if she repeats it and spreads it around enough, people will believe it. The Minnesota senator was also mentioned. Yes, she was killed by a so-called right leaning Christian. Am I proud? No. Did I celebrate? No. Charlie Kirk’s killer was raised in a conservative family, but no matter how much we try and raise our kids the right way, they can be indoctrinated. So “both sides” can have some kooks. This will be the point I am trying to make. When the Minnesota Senator and husband were killed, how many people in congress and Fox News made snide remarks about their murders…..NONE. How many people in congress and MSM, and even teachers have made snide remarks about Charlie Kirk’s murder? How many people have rejoiced in Kirk’s murder on social media. It’s really sickening the numbers. True, both sides have their black sheep, but for me, the left is more easily triggered (wrong pronouns) and are simply very callous in their feelings for those of us on the right. Let a man wear a MAGA hat while walking down a street in a liberal town. Now, let a man wear a Biden or Kamala shirt while walking down the street in a conservative neighborhood and you tell me who is safer. Last post on the subject. Not interested in the back and forth. Not a tie. 26-20 OT QB got hurt in 1st or 2nd. Sophomore? came in and looked green but woke up real quick. By the 2nd half coach Joseph and the staff found what worked. Great game. Was a fun game. HF Offense looks very legit I was happy with what i saw tonight. Vidor battled. Offense got better.. bye week to keep gelling and working then on to district defense needs some major work, but with such a young team you do what you can Goodluck HF the rest of the way, ill definitely be rooting for yall

It was on Texan Live. I watched it this morning and my wife watched it last night.

It's been 3 years and 3 games. I still think the jury is out. What if the Stangs win out and win district and make a deep run? I am willing to give him this season before making any kind of comment on right or wrong. But I am not as invested as Mustang fans so I completely understand the criticism. Particularly the hiring process.
