I saw Nederland in person last week and WOS in their scrimmage against PNG. Nederland didn’t show me anything that says they’re at a point where they can contend with the combination of Jefferson and WOS’s passing game. Conversely, if Nederland runs the ball the way they did against West Brook they aren’t going to get much on the ground. This might be a three-score game by halftime.

That’s a bummer. They did a great job.

Png needs to run the ball more. Passing every two plays isn’t working. We can grind out three yards a carry and that’s good enough. The current plan isn’t an offense, it’s just an interception factory that doesn’t burn any clock and doesn’t move the ball. OC is playing XBox.

Nederland’s afraid of running up the middle. I think they’ll improve it, but definitely an area to sharpen. Coach calls something up the middle and they’re either too hesitant to hit the gap or try to bounce it outside
