I’m a Bulldog for life, but if that was to happen, let me just say PNG would possibly be STATE CHAMPIONS. Seriously no district in their right minds would not like to have a RB of that caliber. I feel if they get a new coaching staff maybe thinks will turn around, they can’t afford to lose any players to be honest. I don’t see him leaving though.

Congratulations to @KF89 on winning the regular season. Playoff scores start over just like the teams. Everyone has a chance to win the playoffs. But they will also continue to count toward the full season award as well. Anything can happen. We may have some games on Thursday or Saturday. So be sure to check the lock times each week. Well I hoped that they would have ended this season on a good note. That didn’t happen. TC has a good team but a focused opponent and coaching staff would have made this a lot better game. That’s all I have to say.

Games between the three teams played. Point max is 14 for this district. BH beat PAM by 14+, lost to Porter by 6, which gives them a +8 PAM lost to BH by 14+, beat Porter by 14+, which gives them 0 Porter beat BH by 6, lost to PAM by 14+, which gives them a -8.

Im a dude, dude! That doesnt make me his dad either! No new coach automatically has head coach qualifications, seeing the kid grow up and how he is with kids not only in football but baseball the kids sponge to what he says, bumstead has all the making of HC in the making at ktz or not.

Played cover 4 behind that 3 man front and suffocated the pass game BH had to run them out the coverage and couldnt do it.

I agree, I just wish they would have utilize him and other players in the right way. I wish them the best in playoffs. Meanwhile you stay on your side of the track and no more talk of wearing purple 🤣

His speed would be killer in the playoffs. Scary. Especially paired with Chatagnier’s bruiser-style running. In Mid County Madness, I almost found myself wanting him to get more big runs just because it’s cool to watch that level of speed and agility. But (and not to kick Nederland while they’re down) there was hardly any blocking for him. He was on his own, and the confusing part is some of the plays seemed designed to put him on his own. No Rb can overcome that.

Not me, I blame parents first, then the players. Because, NEITHER are trusting the process and are BLAMING COACHES for what little Timmy didn't "study" for!

21 years of existence and ppl are STILL saying it's coaching. Coaches coach throughout the week but they STILL get the blame. How about we talk about what's really going on. Parents condoning foolishness, so called fans bashing kids and coaching staffs. I'll say this it starts at HOME! KEEP on telling little Timmy that his Coaches are wrong and little Timmy won't ever realize his faults. Just finished watching film with my little Timmy and pointed out his faults. Did he like it? HECK NO, but he heard what was said. Not once will I blame coaching, PUBLICLY or BEHIND my keyboard because the COACHES AREN'T BLOCKING AND TACKLING!

Understood. Porter shot themselves in the foot for 3 QTRs and then finally played the way they were capable. See how that works? All you can go by is who won the game.

Don’t remember the exact scores, but at BC/OF/HJ BC won both games. Beat HJ by about 10, and beat OF by 4. OF beat HJ by 10ish.

I totally agree with you. But what I wanna know how many you think coming back after this. This is how our district loses good and talented kids. These kids wanna win, but you have other people pulling strings behind the scenes, cause my buddy son and my friend son need to play. Until then I HATE TO SAY IT NHS will not get better.

I hate big, early leads. It has a mental effect on your game. Howard had plenty of time to throw the ball and he throws it very well. Turnovers in your own territory can change a game very quickly. Can’t believe they didn’t go for the tie in OT. Like you said, what a gift!

41-21 final. LU moves to 4-1 in the SLC and 5-4 overall. Tough game next week at Nicholls then wrap up regular season at home against McNeese.

Snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. I was at the game and sat by a very obnoxious K-State fan, so this W was extra satisfying.

Porter did play a "great" game. Games are determined based upon the cumulative results of 4 QTRs. Well done, Porter.

O-Line play (specifically run blocking) was non-existent and we gave up on the run too quickly. The big uglies better get it together. They seemed like all they wanted to do was sit back shuffle their feet and pass block. The O-line has to get more aggressive and Fuentes needs to take the opportunity to run the ball when the opportunity presents itself (he is capable…been my opinion all season). The passing stats look great though!

I am hoping for a WOS win for the players. I am also hoping for a loss for the WOS coaches. Win or lose it is time for a change at WOS. For the players, fan base, and supporters. WOS in a close one but goes down 35-24.

BH QB needs to run more. 3rd and 2 late in the game and he could have easily scrambled for 2 instead of throwing two incomplete passes. I don't know if he has been told not to run but he needs to show it to either get those easy yards or to open up throwing lanes. I did not see the RB come back in after the fumble either, was he hurt on that play? I mean up 21 against a slow time consuming offense the absolute worst thing you can do is give up big play quick scores. The two long runs on btb plays was mind blowing. With that said, if offense punches it in from inside the 5 the game is over at 28-14. A fail on both sides of the ball. And I thought our kicker was decent, not even a thought of taking the points?

Depends on what you define as terrorism. I don't think either is a threat to America. Just like "threat to democracy" is just a democratic talking point.

I believe Nederland did not cross mid field until 3 minutes left in game and TC had all back ups to the back ups in. The play calling was laughable…but the execution was worse. Maybe 3 first downs until the last 4 minutes of the game for Nederland. TC had a punt with about 9 minutes, our punt team just turned and went back. The punter probably could have run for 30 yards but he held the ball for about 5 seconds, then punted. The ball slowly rolled to about half yard line and was downed. Backup QB was put in…safety. Dogs got ball back and finally crossed mid field with about 3 minutes left. QB had a very nice run for TD. Maybe coaches didn’t want this week’s opponent to have good film on em. Can’t think of another reason for the “game plan”…and just to tidy up the message of lack of awareness, injured player on sideline wearing slippers and pajama pants with uniform, throwing the football around looks poor when a staff is under the microscope…Go Dogs, Good luck to the kids, hope for a injury free game!

2A Round Top-Carmine vs Chester November 7th 6 PM Splendora High School

They were okay but not likely that anyone from last years jv team even impacts this upcoming season. A couple kids will need to help for sure but most of the kids were already on varsity.

Not a popular opinion amongst those who post a lot, but LP has actually been the most consistent team in 8-5A all year. Nothing flashy. Just steady. A throwback to the old LP as I’ve stated multiple times. They didn’t even settle on a QB until Week 5/6, and have also had their share of injuries and players out as did other district teams. Still, they just steadily plugged along. All this without having a ‘true’ home game all year. I consider that fairly impressive in itself. (Not sure where this first round PO game will be either since we don’t have a home field right now.) Until 2017–and a string of multiple coaches that didn’t work out, new district leadership, and other changes—La Porte was a PO team for basically 30 years straight. (Even as typically the smallest school in whichever district they were placed.) Teams always knew—win or lose—they were in for a ‘dog fight’ when they matched up with La Porte. This group of young men have never known the PO’s. So, we’ll see how they fare. But, I’m sure the staff will have them as ready to play as possible. Good Luck to all the 8-5A PO teams. I’ll be rooting for all.

LaPorte vs Lancaster - This will most likely be pretty high scoring game. I think turnovers decide it. Longview vs New Caney Porter - Longview's defense will adjust to the running game and pull away for convincing win. BH versus McKinney North - If BH can stop the run, they win...pretty simple. Forney vs PAM - the most interesting game of the 4. Regardless of what refs they pick, PAM will be playing the zebras too. PAM's athletes will give Forney trouble but Forney is a complete team.

BH had to work last night. Of course I love seeing 25-10 type scores, but its good BH had to work some. The district was way too easy. Work sharpens them up for the next round and on. No easy opponents ahead. Go Eagles!

Kirbyville is a quiet 8-2 team this year. Congratulations on the district championship. Hope they make a little noise in the playoffs.
