  1. Agree the talk about players going to LCM is really silly after one year of success. My Nephew played for WB under Peevy and one cousin who is still there #44, I have heard good and not so good about his coaching at WB. Getting players to buy in is the key. I hope you guys do get your bond passed all schools should have nice facilities to play in. The sooner WOS makes their announcement the sooner the gossip and wishful thinking can STOP about who will be HC next year.

  3. The truth of the matter is no one has moved. It’s all bunch of talk. Some mustang fans were disgruntled this year on social media about the video and said they should send there kids to LCM because they felt like the WOS coaching staff didn’t care about the kids. The most important thing for this kids is an education and a coach to come and be a great leader to them. Everything else will fall in place

  4. No you're just watching it as a fan and not a coach and can only see the game once 🤷🏾‍♂️. Not sure what I said that you feel is wrong. Analytics are real numbers based on film not opinion. Based on this thread and others I can see why the transfer portal in college basketball went into the thousands 🤣. Opinions vs analytics, the numbers will always win in the end and tell the truth.

  6. I dont think anyone is jumping yet. I just think that, if the right choice isn't made, it could very well happen.

  7. I figure if the Superintendent could call me out by name to Admin, he surely Would be able to comment to the public. Last I looked these are not lifetime political positions. Starting from the top. Tax payer money??? I’m all ears. I stand by what I said 100%… And I think the kids have spoken. So to all the school board members and Admin, the ball is now in their court. Everyone has a voice. It’s called a democracy. For anyone who doubted my original post, you can quit now. I was 100% on target using a source that leaked the news from their own camp. Maybe in the future the board will be able to shed some light on the situation. But in the end, it’s all about votes. So 8500 season ticket holders will have a voice on all new elections. Do the right thing is all the kids asked. Makes sense to me….

  8. No horse in this race, and probably not aware of all the facts. The ones I am knowledgeable about has this outsider scratching his head in bewilderment. There should be some very good reason this is even something on the table. I hope that’s the case rather than just a political “assassination”. Hope the good folks of Port Neches and Groves find out the truth.

    Girls scores 12/14

Just before school started back in August SETXSports lost the heart and soul of our online presence. Todd Broussard kept the content fresh and flowing on the website. Todd passed away due to complications from COVID. Todd was a fighter having overcome a heart transplant several years ago and he loved what he did for SETXSports. We are trying to keep up with everything, but we discover every day something else Todd did that we never knew about. For 16 years SETXSports.com has been the only place where you could get information about all sports in Southeast Texas, not just football. The help we need is people posting scores. We are working to get things like standings and records updated, but that takes scores. We have very few people that cant be everywhere all the time so we coaches and parents to send in the scores so we have data to work with. Please know that we value each and every high school athlete, guys and girls! We just need parents letting us know about the scores. Thanks Scott Loar SETXSports.com

  25. Looking at this break down I wouldn’t be able to tell who won the game?? Sears did a masterful job of breaking the defense down and dishing the ball where it needed to go. He could penetrate the defense at will and did when he needed to. HF doesn’t have the go to guy that steps up and demands the basketball with the game on the line. #2 was the closest player I saw to anyone doing this. Everyone has a different opinion I guess but I personally would have put #5 on the block and pounded the basketball in to him. I don’t the kids name but #3 from HJ was the most impressive defender I saw last night. Early foul trouble on Brown kept him on the bench for extended periods of time and kept the game closer than it would have been otherwise.

  26. Yeah the ONLY way to not absolutely botch that hire was to give Cornel the keys. There has never been a bigger no brainer hire in the history of football.

  27. Whether marijuana should be legal or not would have changed anything. Maybe the dead kid would not have been there but another person would have been there in his place buying something else illegal. Just like in the days of prohibition, when Al Capone and other gang leaders we’re selling alcohol because it was illegal and they use the illegal product to make a lot of money. When alcohol became legal, did the mafia go away and quit committing crimes? Did they all go out to get respectable jobs? The obvious answer is no but the next question is, why? Because they are criminals and will use whatever crime is available to make their money. Prostitution? Gun running? Selling of other drugs that are illegal? Even the selling of marijuana in Colorado where it is legal, is a felony if you don’t have a store and pay the tax. Only certain people in Colorado are allowed to sell. I can guarantee they’re still illegal sales of marijuana in Colorado where the possession of it is legal. it is interesting that you list tobacco. Want an example? In New York City there was a high tax for regular cigarettes. That is why some people (criminals) drive across the bridge to New Jersey and buy cigarettes and return to sell the loosies on the streets of New York. That is how Eric Garner died of a heart attack in a struggle with police who are arresting him not for selling cocaine, not an illegal gun and not marijuana but a cigarette that you could buy over the counter at any convenient store in this country. It was no different than rum runners going across the border with Canada and returning with alcohol. Wait, I thought cigarettes were legal everywhere in this country, How could somebody die fighting the police for selling a cigarette? A person who is willing to commit a felony by selling marijuana, is not all of a sudden going to be a model and upstanding citizen because marijuana becomes legal. He will just change it to selling PCP, cocaine, guns or in the case of Eric Garner, a Marlboro cigarette. Where does the rationale come in believing that felons are only felons because of something like marijuana being illegal. Like a person is going to say gee, I don’t mind going to prison for selling a little bit of marijuana but I sure don’t want to go to prison for selling a gun or cocaine.

  28. Mathews is a great coach, Peevey is a great coach! Peevey took LCM to 4th round this year. Vidor has not been there since 1964. Im sure he would rather go to 4th round, than get coach of the year.I know I would. Either way both coaches do a great job.
