We will be fine at Legacy. We sold it out for the Semi-final game and many Indian fans and other fans from the area sat on the LH side. The lady working concessions told me it was the first time she had saw a side entirely sold out and that they were running out of certain items in the concessions. I am unaware if its true or not. I already have been told that some of my friend's from Nederland are coming and that quite a few will be there. Also a family I met after the Brenham game said to expect some Green and White amongst the Purple and White. So whomever makes it Ty we welcome your support. Come be part of our family if you desire. You will be welcomed with open arms. Also Ty to all the area folks who support us in the playoffs. We are blessed to have you.

The way I see it, BH dropped more points on McKinney than Longview and Forney. WITH a fumble on the 3yd line and a pick. We also held them to 14 (I ain’t counting the last minute TD with 2nd string in). Now I don’t think ANYBODY would pick Richland over either one of those teams. BH can play with anybody in 5AD1 when they play their game. NOW, what team will show up? The Porter team or the PAM team?

Granted no one from BH district won 1st round either, but their district looks weak to me. BH O has the ability to score in bunches. BH team that showed up vs PAM and MC north wins by 14. BH team that finished vs Porter shows up it may be a different ballgame. I’m picking the good BH team to show up.

@89Falcon pretty sure Silsbee won it a few years ago in back to back years. They had 3 RBs that could go and an OL/DL that was really good.

Just that you cannot take final scores and make a determination as you did. Yes BH can be competitive and even win the game but not because the scores from other teams playing a common opponent that each team has defeated. Heck. Longview was up 49-0 at the half against Porter, a team you lost too just a week earlier.

I am with you on this one. Longview kneeled out the clock inside their 10 yard line and could have scored more but didn't. When it comes to scoring, it is about offensive types and matchups. Look at Porter and the two outcomes...different teams and different match ups. For this game, I do think it is going to be a good one. I think as long as BH doesn't come out flat, they should have a solid shot at winning.

It didn’t feel like nonsense last year when they played a fairly easy schedule and met a decent team in the second round and put up 3 points. This year the schedule has been much worse (can’t control who you play in district, I get it), although I expect them to avoid the upset this time, and we’ll find out what happens when they finally play a good team. Still, 11 games into the season Bellville has played exactly zero teams that finished the season with a winning record. No denying they looked really good against a WOS team that was competitive with quality teams all year, but it sure felt like WOS also finally quit on their coach as well. They beat Silsbee in the 3rd round and I’ll agree with you that my comments on the schedule were all nonsense.

Oh yeah, seems like I do recall hearing their coach left. Should be a good game! I’ve got family in Huntsville who are very involved with school district and athletic booster club…solid program, GREAT fan base and their Superintendent is a PNG grad so I’m definitely pulling for them to get the W!

Madisonville is improved from last year but not enough to stay in this game. Belville will win by a comfortable margin and likely move on to win the region.

Less than one minute into the film, the author said that he was offended by a gummy bear stereotype so decided…. “That’s why I’m making this film”. He literally lets you know all that you need to know in the first minute. Essentially he is saying, I am going to search out evidence that meets my objective. Fuentes has been a pleasure to watch. I remember thinking how hard it was going to be to replace Holdren at QB, but Fuentes filled those shoes plus some.

Exactly, Huntsville is a bad matchup for them. Huntsville’s record isn’t indicative of how good they are. I watched their game vs Lake creek on YouTube last night and they dominated that game but gave it away at the end.

We will have greater clarification after this week. District 12 did not fare so well. Would not surprise me to see a representative from District 9 advance this week.

I think we're arguing over semantics Monte has been with the district 30 years the chances of him getting fired are slim to none and slim left town if he is replaced as athletic director/head coach he will be reassigned within the District

Outside looking in, I’d have to say LCM due to buy in from the athletes and community. LCM will cycle, much as we do, as special groups come through and I believe most fans are realistic about that. But they will be competitive each year due to the coaching.

Thought BC and OF both looked good against HJ. Didn’t see any of the BC/OF one. HJ missing its top 5 or 5 of its top 6 guys. #20 from BC I really liked and they had a scrappy group. I know they were missing a couple as well, one of which apparently may not play this year who has some size. OF has a couple of key kids still in football too but they are better and deeper than I realized. The scales kid may have been the best player in the gym today. Kid can go.
