Were you at the meetings when WOS had a C rating in 2019 (no ratings the last two years with COVID), but had a better football team? Or is the B they got in 2022 only a problem because the football team is struggling? Honest question. Because if you ask me, bringing their academic rating up from a C to a B despite the challenges of learning through COVID is quite an accomplishment, and should be celebrated.11 points

Leave the football program alone. We just need to be more physical and tackle better which will happen. Everyone needs to stop crying and get behind the kids and coaching staff and give the system a chance. It will work itself out. I well never turn my back on the coaching or the kids like some of you guys have because I'm more about wins and losses. This is the worst fan base I have ever seen in my life. Be me I've been to high school college and nfl games. Win or lose there behind their no matter the outcome week in week out, but wos fans. THE GET ROCKY AND YOU GUYS BAIL. No loves that school more than I do and I will defend it at all cost when see junk like this. So if players wanna leave bye, I wish them the best but wos will continue to be great. 28 20 wos to STAMP IT.5 points -

Do you believe that backups should just run out the clock when they get in? Despite that fact that they may rarely get the chance to play otherwise despite practicing/preparing just as much as the chosen starters. I'm curious. I wasn't at the game nor do I know.. but if the backups were in, they deserve to be coached with the same intensity and just the same as the starters in a game situation. It is truly absurd to me to believe that when backups finally get to go in.. that it's even a suggestion for them to play/perform any less than the starters are expected to begin the game or for the clock to just keep running. This isn't little league. If someone feels like they can't stop a bunch of backups from "running it up" then either schedule better or prepare better.4 points -
Sounds like you need to go get your Bachelors Degree and a Teaching Certification and get to work! I would love to see you draw some X's and O's up on the board! I'm sure you could show those ex professionals and college players something! I bet WB's lack of success has absolutely nothing to do with the absolutely horrible atmosphere and environment within the whole school...... I bet the constant distractions of being on lockdown and shelter in place and dealing with violent events on campus has absolutely nothing to do with the performances of 16 and 17 year olds. That staff needs someone like you who knows winning in High School sports is just about "coaching".3 points

You are correct. It doesnât take me to clear it up. Anyone can claim that they are investigating someone. Look at the big news (or comedy skit) this week about a Texas sheriff claiming that he is investigating Governor DeSantis of Florida for the Marthaâs Vineyard entertainment. Sure, investigate all you want. Donât hold your breath waiting for an indictment on that case.2 points

I tend to agree. Back ups deserve the chance to show themselves. What I don't care for is particular situations like a coach calling timeout with 10 seconds left, leading by 50, just to try and score again. Or running a hurry up offense in the last minute (contrary to what they had been doing) to try and score again. Or going for it on 4th and 15 in their own territory leading by 40+. Or throwing every down, routes to the sidelines, to try and stop the clock under a minute to go leading by 30+. Those type decisions are totally unnecessary. And yes, I have seen these situations with my own eyes. If the backups are running the base offense and the other team just can't stop them, then that's on the other team.2 points -

Then I retract the aggressiveness in my tone. My point, however, remains in that case in high school games and up. Probably even junior high games. Backups deserve the same level/style of coaching as the starters get at the beginning of the game. Coach them just as hard and with the same intention of reaching maximum success. "Running it up" is one of my most hated comments if/when a team has already removed the starters. The backups are supposed to lay down because the starters gave them a huge lead? I don't think so.2 points -

Good game. QB play and RBs did well all night. Line blocked well. Bryant might end up being a good second back to depend on, I think Thomas almost broke 100 yds tonight. Still some things to work on but overall much better effort against a team that wasnât very good and that they should have beaten. The good: O&D line, QB, Rb played very well. Only three penalties tonight. The Bad: Still need to work on special teams and secondary. The ugly: nothing really ugly tonight.2 points -

Have you seen anyone in any forum support Dylann Roof or not call for his execution? As a comparison, people in other countries were cheering on 9-11 with suicide bombers killing thousands of people. Have you ever seen anyone cheering for Roof? Have you ever seen anyone in this forum say anything that could be taken as support for Roof? You love coming up with the straw man.2 points -

Big game for the Dogs. A lot of mistakes still, but they overcame a little adversity in the first half. That's what I liked. Willowridge made some big mistakes as well. It wasn't all that pretty of a game. Having a strong running game will help that light passing game develop. Work needs to done on the secondary. The guys in the trenches (on both sides) looked good. They should be prepared for Dayton.1 point -

I think playing those tough teams earlier in the season helped the bulldogs improve a lot, they still young and with time and experience, I have no doubt they will be a great team. QB did a great job, been watch him play for a while, he knows how to look for the open receivers, and can tuck and run like he a RB if need to, love that about him. 13 is a great RB it looks like heâs barely running but the kid can move. He hard to bring down once he start going. And @PABornI think when 13 knock the safety on his back that was Big dawg mentality đđ. But as for that he also still young and with experience no doubt he too will be a beast. The o-line played a heck of a game blocking and getting holes open. Bryant RB played very well last night He ran the ball strong and looked good doing it. That defense did good too, just the secondary needs a lot of work. Overall if they continue to work hard! There is nothing but winning here on up! Congratulations Bulldogs on your win!!1 point -

For those of yâall commenting on NS success & wondering whatâs the secret! Itâs simple they have a great collection of TALENT, COACHING & STRUCTURE! Structure which starts from the very top of the food chainâŚadmin understands how important athletics are and stand behind it. Every successful program gets hit with the recruiting talkâŚbut truth of the matter is NS players are groomed to win from the time they hit middle school! Go watch Cunningham middle school on a Tuesday evening & youâll see exactly where all the talent is coming from! Cunningham Middle hasnât loss a football game in almost 30 years! And those kids are running the same offense, defense, stretches & off season program as the high school. Also both of NS feeder middle schools have 90 min athletic periods EVERYDAY, which allows for adequate practice time & coaching. This also allows for the high school coaches to attend these periods in the spring & go coach the incoming 8th graders! For the idiots that want to bring up NS getting transfers every school gets move ins/transfersâŚfact of the matter is NS donât have to recruit the program recruits itself! If a parent wants to send their child to a better program like NS (which is an open enrollment campus just like MANY others in the Houston area) instead of a shitty program that their child may be zoned to are you going to fault the parent for doing whatâs best for their kid athletically & academically? And would you fault NS coaches for accepting that kid into the program? What donât get talked about is thereâs more kids that transfer OUT of NS instead of in! For example Channelviewâs current starting QB started his career at NS, PA Memorial starting QB started his career at NS, CE Kingâs QB started 7 games at QB for NS just LAST YEAR, CE Kingâs starting DE whoâs also happens to be a Colorado commit started his career at NSâŚbut because these teams donât win at the same level of NS this type of stuff never gets talk about. And if youâre wondering how do I know all of this itâs because I coached all of them at NS. Most of yâall on here have never seen or been apart of a successful program like NS so the first thing you do to justify the success is say stupid sh*t like âthey recruitâ or âopen enrollmentâ when in fact no other program in the state puts the same amount of work inâŚthey donât see the lifting thatâs done 5x a week in-season & off-season or the summer workouts Mon-Friday that start at 6:30 in the morningâŚI could go on & on! Yâall are on the outside looking in & swear yâall have all the answers smh just appreciate & salute greatness!1 point
