Another opportunity for Anahuac to show they are the real deal and that the Freshman QB can battle with some of the best teams in the state.

I wish I was exaggerating because I think BU has a lot of potential and some of those kids just need some wins in life in general but they're tough to watch right now. I used the HISD example because I watched Madison play and while they're not great they actually look like a varsity football team. BISD needs to really give the new coach some time to change the culture, as in two or three years with no expectations of positive results as long as they're showing improvement. Watching them play it's a lot more of a rebuilding job than I thought. That's why I'm really not sure how much PNG can take from that game?

I agree. I only consider going to state as the championship game in football. Now in basketball and baseball most consider going to state is making it to state tourney, which includes the semifinal. As for records go, Silsbee is 3-0 vs. WO-S in the playoffs.

Nederland is starting out with playing 3 ranked teams in the top 10 in the state in their respected divisions, as well as top 3 in @AshlyKBMT top 5 in the area… I’m going to go ahead and say it Nederland has had the hardest non district schedule in SETX. Find me one that’s been harder. We are getting battle tested, like what @KF89 just pointed out some great players that made plays, sophomores are getting better and I believe this past Friday night they found even more playmakers they didn’t know they had.. will not be surprised if district rolls around and we shock everyone and finish at the top… Barrow and company will get the dogs ready come district.

Several on Offensive & Defense I have noticed have potential to be very good Defense- #69, #25,#6,#14, #15, Offense- #13, #19, #12, #3

For the first time ever I agree with @Separation Scientist. Last year Crosby and PAM kind of cancelled each other out at the skill positions and Crosby won the game at the line of scrimmage with guys like Cooper and Casey. I think when we get healthy we’re better at the skill positions this year than PAM and we’re still better than y’all at the LOS. Neither one of us are as good yet as we were last year at the LOS but I think the gap between Crosby and PAM is wider at this point this season. Wilson is a beast but he’s a different kind of good than Sanders. Both of PAM’s backs are nice but you need downhill runners against Crosby and neither one of those kids are. PAM receivers can go as usual but they’ve taken a step back from those dudes y’all had last year. Defense looks good but nobody put any personnel on y’all yet. That’s a month away though, we’ll see what we look like when we get there.

1. Yep. I remember seeing at least 1 play-action last Fri, for a TD, if I remember right. 2. Yep, again. Although the tackling improved in the 3rd qtr of the PAM game. 3. Prosperie was frustrated in the PAM game, with PAM's DB, and especially the Ref who kept his flag in his pocket. The Ref finally threw a flag for USC in the 4th Qtr, when helmets were coming off. Hopefully #19 and #84, after the BU game, will draw some attention away from Prosperie now.

Never said Nederland wasn't bad team so far this year, I am saying they have a solid group of young, good players mixed with some good seniors like the Bieber & Caywood players with potential to get better each game it was 21-21 at half vs. P.A. that's a sign of getting better from the WOS game? Heck score could have been 80 to 21 with the 8 turnovers, that in itself is a positive the players never quit playing hard. But there was many other positives & learning from the P.A. game to make Ned a better team for district. WOS & P.A. will make majority of golden triangle teams look like they don't have much talent like you say. This has nothing to do with being a bulldog backer, trust me anyone would tell you, if there was no talent to work with at all it would be stated by me.

We're lucky this is a very talented team but when ur not use to doing something that u have been doing ur whole life.and change it in a couple months.just hope they can iron it all out bf playoffs.but one there strengths that allows them to learn this new defense is shaw and Jones at CBs are tremendous.that what's really helping them.

I will be there with the rest of you all attending hoping for a safe injury free game because after the Stangs we face FBM. So hats off to you WOS team and fans. China Spring 42 Melissa 41 My buddy was at the game and said China Spring extended a drive to take the lead with a soft PI call, then Melissa had an argument for PI on three straight plays that would’ve put them in field goal range that weren’t called.
