In fairness, BU is a matchup nightmare for almost anyone who laces em up against them. I agree with most on here - if Nederland keeps it within 20 that will be a surprise. And that is no slight at all towards the Bulldogs. They could be a 2-3 playoff win team and still get manhandled by United. Just a beast of a team.

When I called the New Caney/Nederland game, which came down to the last 5 min. The Dogs had a hard time with the Press. That, combined with the size difference, will be the deathnail for Ned. I think this gets ugly, BU had two players that usually shoot the 3 well go 20% from 3 vs a good Crosby team, and still won by 16. BU is on another level compared to Ned. They were doing everything they could in High School Scoreboard not to say they expect Crosby to hammer Liberty Hill but I’m not sure they know Crosby’s history with the slot-t? All that annoying stuff about enrollment numbers and level of athletes 14.2 has said over the years takes its final exam Friday. It took 5 rounds but Crosby will definitely be the biggest and fastest team on the field this game. This is the third and only game of a possible four where it doesn’t feel like we’re playing with house money. If this Cedar Park or Calallen before they recently moved down then OK, but this is one it feels like Crosby kinda should get. I was at the Brenham game and the game was over in the first quarter. Brenham's defensive line was so quick and disruptive the Crabs were lucky to hand the ball off without a loss or a fumble. The Crabs offense could never get into a rhythm and were shell shocked the whole game.

That was EXACTLY the game I was thinking of back when the Sandcrabs played Brenham and I think Brenham returned two fumbles for TD’s. We heard the same thing about the unstoppable slot-t then also. Fear Not.

I think we lose sight of how much talent it takes to play D1 college basketball. Today’s college game demands not only pure shooting skills but also big bodies and physicality. I know as you get into the mid majors we see a drop off in these traits to some extent but they are still there. I hope the young man excels at Lamar I hope even more that he gets the type of education there that makes him successful.
