To tell you the truth, I don’t really care what they say. Having all the answers and all the moral high-ground must be exhausting. Me personally, I struggle to be a good husband, dad, employee and just do the best I can on a daily basis. Washington is not on my mind other than when they force it on us every two years at election time. I cast my vote and it’s time to move on. Socialism, anti-Christian views, higher taxes, encouraged hatred of law-enforcement and loosening of morals seem to be what the country wants. I’m sick of the pompous attitudes the politicians have. I’m sick of the double standards and I’m definitely tired of the condescension being cast toward anyone who has a divergent view point. I used to type up replies, then re-read them 3-4 times before I posted worrying and ensuring there wasn’t anything too controversial.....well not anymore.

Look. I’m not a Trump sheep. You’re dead wrong on my assessment. You can’t tell me what he said to incite the violence that came about. I don’t agree because I’m a realist. We are now seeing socialism rearing its ugly head as we knew would happen. Big tech giants removing Trump from their platforms. You can bet they will start removing those that supported Trump as well. The PGA removing Trump’s course from its schedule. Banks stopping doing business with Trump. Colleges removing members of Congress from the advisory committees. This should scare the hell out of people, but the Democrats are fully embracing this. They have no desire to unite the country. They are doing their best to further divide the country, and some RINO’s are gutless and joining them. You watch what happens at the next midterm elections when the Democrats suffer major losses in Congress. It will happen. We are in for a miserable four years, count on it.

Not sure how you get a moral victory out of what I said. The original statement that I replied to said something about, there's going to be a lot of crying over the next 4 years". Let's not pretend like a lot of kids don't move to new districts to play football. BH given where they are need Baytown area athletes to move in to supplement their athletes' in Barbers Hill. If you're a kid in Baytown and want scouts looking at you. Do you move to BH from Lee? Who just made the playoffs? or Go to Crosby who's in the state finals? If you go further east those kids would move to PAM, if you go further North those kids would move to Crosby. So they need Baytown area athlete move ins and recently they haven't gotten them. Branch went to Crosby not BH, Both teams futures would look unmistakably different had that been reversed. What you need his homegrown talent, good coaching and the allure to pull in surrounding athletes of less alluring schools. Malik Hornsby doesn't move to Fort Bend Marshall they don't go to two title appearances. Move ins matter and right now geographically BH is situated in a bad spot.

And on a side note, a bakery who is owned by one person, seeks payments for their services and then refuses to serve someone is vastly different than a publicly traded company who is open to everyone, doesn’t charge and then singles out someone and bans them because of peer pressure.

I was expecting Silsbee to take a few losses in district this year and they still may. But I thought it would be in the first half of district. This team will continue to improve and getting them later in season will be tough.

Before a change of team possession, a Team A player fumbles and the ball is caught or recovered by any Team A player other than the fumbler. There is no Team A score. (NCAA Rule 8-3-2-d-5) By rule only 42 could have recovered that ball and it resulted in a score. When he fumbled it, no one but him can score on the fumble try during an extra point.

I don’t know what it is but WOS seems to test Silsbee a lot, even when the Mustangs aren’t very good (but this team seems to be capable of playing really well at times). And the failure to keep their foot on the gas comes with young teams sometimes. You’re right though - they gotta learn to do that.

So a game was cancelled because one player may have been exposed and that player has to quarantine. They couldn't play a game without that player?

Preston has been at A&M for three years and is still struggling to get on the field. Preston was highly ranked for his big play ability but it was mostly catch and run stuff off short passes/screens. That’s why he keeps getting outplayed by 3-star kids. Marshall is a better route runner, runs more routes from the tree, has better hands and better ball skills. IDK about the pure top end speed but he’s quicker in short areas than Preston and is lighter but plays with the same physicality. Where Preston is struggling to play to his rating, I think Marshall would be the best receiver and NFL prospect on A&M’s roster. Also think, this is his first year even playing football.
