For Vidor to have any chance, to even keep it respectable, they have to make a lot of first downs. They do that, who knows? For those expecting a blow out, remember Vidor was ahead of Jasper in the 4th Qtr, prior to most of our injuries, and Jasper gave Carthage their closest game this year.

And being ranked doesn't matter come playoff time, good luck Pirates. ☕

Grdn played the entire game, but if you watch the game on YouTube Below you can tell he may be at 50 or 60%.A lot of his passes are High and he did not RUN once, except to move out of the pocket only to throw the ball away,which is unusual for Grden.Pavlitz ,Friendswood's workhorse RB did not play.Defense did a great job shutting down the Laporte offense.Injuries are playing a big part this time of season.

Really glad to be playing! We have some work to do and we should get better as the season continues.

There’s no doubt Lindale will be looking well past this game. This one, in their minds, is an automatic. Will that be enough to keep the score close? Probably not, but hey, anything can happen. One thing Lindale has to do is stop the run. If they have trouble doing that, and Vidor eats up the clock, and makes a score or two, it could be close, or at least closer than some think. On the other hand, Vidor goes 3 & out repeatedly, it’ll be ugly.

Lots of parents/Tiger players from the 90s will enjoy every minute of this game if it goes as expected.

Yup, this was our story against Crosby. 3 minutes to go into the half and it’s a 10-7 ball game with Crosby in the lead. Crosby turns the ball over and gives us the ball mid field and I’m thinking sweet go down and score then we’re up 14-10 with the ball coming out of the half😁 Then bam turn over the ball on a trick play and then a pick by Crosby in 3 minutes turns into 10 points for Crosby and a 20-7 advantage going into the half. BH never recovered.

The reason I think we haven't been consistent. #1 Lack of athletes, #2 parents not buying in the program and worried about little Johnny getting yelled at. #3 band first, #4 everyone gets a trophy mentality#5 coaching. Ill give example that I witness several years ago where I saw a LCM kid quilt on the side line during a game. He refused to go back in the game. Well let’s just say the next week he started. If the coaches are not holding the kids accountable and letting them do what they want and when they want on their football team we will never be good. We hold no discipline at our school. I’m reminded of that old joke where the Cop pulls over a car with two guys in it for reckless driving. The driver mouths off at the Cop and the Cop slaps him upside the head. The driver shuts up. Then the Cop goes around and slaps the passenger upside the head. The passenger says, Why did ya do that? The Cop says, so when you you get a few miles down the road, you won’t be able to say, I’d kick that mofo’s butt if he’d done that to me. 😂
