  2. A Biker is sitting on his Harley, drinking a beer, by the Zoo in Washington, DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings the girl to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, “Sir, this was the most gallant and bravest thing I've seen a man do in my whole life. The Harley rider replies, “Why, it was nothing, really. The lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right.” The reporter says, “Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page. So, what do you do for a living, and what political affiliation do you have?” The biker replies "I'm a U.S. Marine, a Republican and I’m voting for Trump. "The journalist leaves. The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page: “U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT & STEALS HIS LUNCH” And THAT pretty much sums up the media's approach to the news these days!

  4. Until they cut PNG's federal funding over it. Which will happen by the later half of 2021, in my estimation. The Department of Education under the new Biden/"black woman" ticket will move to strike funding for all schools with offensive mascots. Also gonna steer funding from "privileged" areas to "minority areas" in the name of "social justice." You get to do that when you scream racism and nobody challenges you. The fact that you went unchallenged makes it accepted as truth. And don't be offended by the "Biden/black woman" tag... he said it first.

I am talking about the lockdown as a whole. Not just 2 weeks. You totally distorted my post. Did you read the link? Probably not. At what point does these mini lockdowns stop. Believe me I am so done with this nonsense also. I’ve lost 65% of my business that took me 14 years to buildup only to have it wiped out in a 2 week period in March. Most of my accounts has already went out of business. All of these experts making theses decisions haven’t lost a paycheck so we’re not all in this together. When everyone throws in 65% of their income or all of their income into a care fund then maybe I’ll feel like we’re all in this together. I feel for the ones that have lost all of their business at least I have a little bit left. Rant over!

Yep. If you keep a full football schedule from two a days to Week 11 starting on January 4th. That would start boys basketball on March 15 with the state championships somewhere in mid July. While I am sure the UIL would give leeway, I don't know if they would want sports extended to just a couple of weeks before the start of the 2021 athletic calendar.

Well, that was what I was trying to get at with the question that I asked you as practically every boys sport would be sacrificed if you delay football to the spring yet play a full schedule. When you look at it that way, it is not going to be as popular a solution as some think.

  9. if everybody waits until there is no chance of contracting this disease before carrying on with anything, then shut the world down and welcome back the 1930's. Then let's see how many people die.

Of course a liberal organization called for that. But what matters is what the governor has said, which is students will be back in class if their parents want them to be. Teachers will be there ready for them if they want a paycheck.

As a teacher, my contract is spread out so I continue to be paid in June, July, and August. I have already earned my money. I am ready to go back. Our new contracts start in September. I will be working from wherever they tell me.

UIL just a year or two ago was trying to see how they could move baseball championship games up a week.. most kids play travel ball in the summer and you will be eliminating that from them if July baseball championship games... plus most kids in baseball get their scholarship offers in select baseball due to the elite tournaments and exposure. You will also have football coaches very mad that their star players can’t work out in strength and conditioning program because there is baseball season still in July with football season starting in August... So no football camps for college exposure as well and 7 on 7 for these baseball kids that play football... a kid say a junior right now starts playing in September, has a deep playoff run into January, baseball season starts up in February plays all the way to July and bam 2 weeks later football season again for 2021... come on spring sports took a hit last year. You can’t further delay spring sports to accommodate football. Football needs to sacrifice hate to say it, and that small sacrifice would be 2 playoff teams.

  13. You can't go by narratives. People lie and embellish stuff to suit their purposes, especially on cyber message boards. Personally I don't think all caucasians are racist. I don't think all black people belong to BLM. I've had a lot of police officers help me when they could of by law done otherwise. Re: general Lee. I've heard good things about him and bad. God will be the ultimate judge, for him & everybody else. I did not sign off on pulling down the statues. I've met some cool white people. They are not racists. The racists out there need to fix that cause Jesus is coming back soon. There will be no racism in heaven.

  15. Way more kids died from the Flu this past season than the Covid-19, and way more adults have died from Covid-19 in the ages 65 and above and with underlying conditions for the most part. Now the vast (not all) amount of teachers are well under 65 years of age. So in my opinion we just need to open the schools and quit living in fear that some politicians and a lot of the media are shoving down our throats.

A one month delay wouldn't hurt that bad. You could still reasonably complete a full athletics calendar with that. Beyond that, then decisions will have to start being made.

Yeah that was my point, that you can't just move all the sports to spring and expect it to work. Something will have to be cut.

  22. Africa is still Africa. I wouldn’t be able to identify an African flag if I seen one lol. But it wouldn’t bother me at all if those countries are still up and running and weren’t defeated for the freedom of my people. Some people trace our heritage back to Africa but I actually think our heritage goes beyond that

Only plus about all this, they’re helping get Trump re-elected. Had a march in NYC the other day against defunding the Police, which de Blasio has already done. Doubt most inner city people are thrilled with having their neighborhoods shot up & innocent children killed. They may not vote for Trump, but they probably won’t vote at all.

  24. I get it, and I ain't mad. All jokes aside, if he picked a moderate VP candidate, I'd be tempted. Or at least stay home. I wasn't excited about Trump, and I'm sorely disappointed in his performance under fire this year. But you have to admit that pro-business policies work for all of us, even when someone as inexperienced as him is the one running the show. I just can't bring myself to vote for somebody who's pretty much pledging to sink the ship economically. I got skin in the game, lol.

Agree seniors need to have their chance for scholarships. Small schools would be hit harder as far as the coaching. Maybe some of the individual sports only need a teacher/administrator.

  40. This is what delusion looks like we can have a video of someone being Killed and still refuse to accept that reality. One will have to believe that Floyd was going to die that Day regardless simply over the drugs he took. When the video first start Floyd is alive and well able to scream talk clear mind. 8 mins after police have knee on his neck he’s unconscious. It’s amazing and telling how far some will go . If Floyd was kneeling on the cop neck nobody nobody will be asking if it was Murder. This is getting sad

  41. Truer words have not been spoken, my friend. And you guys are absolutely as capable-that's not even a question. Don't doubt that for a second. Anybody that argues that the black community is somehow "less" than anybody else by nature or race is a bigoted fool. I know of older people (now gone on) that literally believed that black people didn't have souls. Seriously. Like dogs. Not going to heaven. No souls. There are so many positive things that the black community collectively has. I'm envious of the amount of faith that I see in your community. The positive body image that black girls have over their white counterparts. The list goes on and on. There's no doubt that your community has so much potential that just needs to be focused... Face it. Life has gotten better for each generation in my family. My great grandparents were impoverished... they had hard lives. My Grandparents were what would be considered typical middle-class for the 40/50/60s... they still had to work hard. My parents' generation had it even easier... less manual labor and a solidly middle to upper middle class lifestyle. My generation all benefited from post-high school education and jobs that really don't demand much of us physically. Our quality of life is not bad at all. We're so blessed. Our kids grew up blessed. I kind of think we're hitting the ceiling for what can be accomplished, though. I'm kinda thinking that my kids and future generations are gonna have a harder time outdoing us based on societal changes... student debt, stagnant job market, etc. This is the first time in probably a hundred years that it's possible that our kids won't have it as good as we did. On the other hand, you guys have so much opportunity to better yourselves over the next few generations. Genuine changes that create a tide that will raise all of your boats. It just won't happen if the plan to move forward is to "tear it all down."
