Crosby bigger badder and better than Dayton . Dayton could have made it more interesting by not fumbling two times in the red zone in the first half. I do like our QB play but he needs a lot more help from supporting cast. ( little sophomore brother play the whole 4th qrt. will be good next year) Looking good Crosby - good luck going forward.

Tip of the cap to PAM. #21 is a solid RB. He runs north/south with a mean streak. Stop fooling around with the QB/RPO package and give #21 the football. On defense, #10 and #45 were difficult to block and disruptive. #72 was a load in the middle. Nice call by the PAM staff on the TE pass. Heavy run formation, then hit the TE behind the defense. Well done. Good first game. PN-G got better as the game went on. They made some mistakes in the first half but played tougher and better in the second half. Lots of good pieces to work with this season. Good luck to PAM this year. GO INDIANS!

Not sure which call you have a problem with. Spiking the ball down the field after a sack is a penalty every time. Grabbing not once but twice when the corner was burned is a penalty every time. Outside of that there were not many calls made..

Everyone one throws around the word discipline when discussing teams. I will change it for just a moment and call it well behaved. Having seen HF play in person only about 3 times in the past 10 years, however I did not like "they way the carried themselves." This may very well be the best behaved group I have witnessed. A huge unsportsman like cost La Marque big time on a possible scoring drive and HF never appeared to do anything that could cost them throughout the night. Late in the game there was an extremely minor push after a play and an HF player immediately was forcing his teammate to the sideline to keep his team from being hit with unsportman like as well. Hoping this is not a 1 time thing and they stay away from some of the foolishness of the past. Whether coaching emphasized or just an overall decent group of kids that was my personal highlight from last night's game. Now, someone may come on here and defend some past teams actions and that's fine, just giving an opinion.

Henry was affected by multiple hits from Harrison. After the 2nd big hit Harrison had on him Henry had a lil limp going on for awhile, seemed to get back right in the 4th quarter. Maybe that was his issue 🤷🏾‍♂️ Good luck to yall going forward.

Newton ended up with 6 turnovers. There's just no way you can beat a WO-S team with 6 turnovers.

It shouldn't have been this close at all. I see a lot of running or whatever discipline coach uses (not a paddle) for the team. A lot of untimely, legit flags kept Lumberton in the game. Timberwolves will he fine. It's just one game but QB play seems to be trending in the right direction with some accurate short and midrange throws and 3 TD passes.

I felt it was a good clean game. No injuries. I expected PAM to win. I didn't think it would be that high scoring. Both teams have a lot of film to watch. I will be pulling for PAM from here on out. I parked by the tailgaters at the back of the parking lot and everyone was gracious.

Good win to start the season for Crosby. Most complete game I’ve seen us play in three years, very easy to see the difference in the way the kids are prepared. I don’t expect the new, young staff to be as sound as BH next week but if they somehow do walk out with a victory I think the question immediately becomes “Can Crosby win a shocker somewhere in district play?”. Either way it’s the first time Crosby has been 1-0 in eight years so already kudos to the new staff.

I’d say so. I’d also say EC still wins though. You already had a solid senior group and some underclassmen who could play well like Hale. thought the mix of Fontenot and Wells at QB was very good for the game. Fontenot got 2 TDs on the ground first half.. moved him around a ton. Wells has zip and can make some good throws. defense looked good. Had some underclassmen who stepped up. Might need to see how they look against a team who passes more. Ceasar, most slept on RB in the area. That reception for TD in the 3rd was electric. For Jasper I think cleaning up the snaps (had maybe 6 bad ones that hurt or knocked them back on 3rd downs) passing game I think might take a second, but Clark is a solid RB. Got some size at WR.. #7 looked like he was 6’3. New offense.. let’s see how they look around district.

I think we'll be playing each other more going forward (beyond this realignment), probably along with Ned too.......just a thought..... ☕
