Deweyville I called 2+ district wins last season. They were less than 10 possessions from accomplishing that prediction. District will expand this year with the top 3 teams out ahead of everyone. I can see where they could be in play for the fourth playoff spot. But the minimum goal for this years squad is 3+ district wins.

Games I'll be keeping an eye on Bridge city @ Silsbee Livingston @ Hardin Jefferson Although not a marquis game the Danbury @ Deweyville game is a chance for the boys to start 1-0 in district and I think they have a solid chance on accomplishing just that.

I was hoping some of that had changed with him. I've watched him play about 10 times over the last 3 years and I coached him for a tournament during the summer. Attitude was an issue. Humbleness is not a trait he poses currently. 15 year old Freshman has time to figure it out.

He would start at any school in BC's district. Young man is the real deal. Daspit must get him engaged on both ends every possession and get him to understand what being a leader is when the game isn't going well. But we are talking about a Freshman not a junior or senior so there is time.
