Why on earth would u run in a play if u dont know the ruling on the field yet. But we send our formation to the line just in time to get out of the way of the ref marching us back. Only to run the same play from 3rd and 20 instead of 3rd and 5. Then we pick up 7 yards and punt. Not to mention the opposing defense sees exactly what we show and makes adjustments between the hash marks quicker that we do. Our "Football IQ" has diminished. Look no furthur than this QB glitch towards the end. Somebody needs to be running stands all night long. And im not talking about players. The kids have given 112% for 4 years.

That’s what I saw watching live…. That falls straight in WOS coaching staff. what I saw watching tonight is Nederland out coached WOS by MILES. Nederland went 2-0 in this series against WOS. You don’t see that happen very often.

The kids deserve better!! Prime example if you have to coach. W.o want beat many teams that has a descent coaching staff. Hopefully the school board does the right thing for once and put the kids needs first.4 yrs of this doesn't make any since at all

The first game BU went up some big number in the first quarter. PNG’s defense was atrocious. I think it was 24-0 at one point. BU still managed to lose. I will say that BU looked much better than the last couple years defensively. The turnovers are what put them in the hole so fast. If they simply kept the ball this would have been a closer game.

That's the difference between district championship teams and non DC contender teams. staying healthy is everyone's agenda, injuries will come rather you play better or worse teams, it's a gamble in the game and you hope for the best. Can't play the bottom/middle of the barrel and expect to be the cream.

I'm waiting for some sort of charges against the company that hired them. They should not get away with no charges

How does building confidence help you in the 2nd round of playoffs? I personally disagree....building confidence starts in practice and kids buying into what you're teaching or not.... you want to play the hardest teams possible pre district unless you just want to pad records and stats. When you face adversity those tough or not so tough pre district games show up.

I can remember a Silsbee QB mistakenly taking a knee instead of spiking the ball at WO-S that cost the Tigers a win. Silsbee had the ball at the Mustang 1 yard line with the clock winding down, score tied 7-7, and instead of spiking the ball, the young man took a knee and time expired due to Silsbee not having in timeouts left. WO-S ended up winning the game in OT, 14-7. That was in 2008. I know for a fact the Silsbee coaching staff was telling the QB to spike it. Was quite clear from our broadcast booth. Saw several giving the signal to do so. QB just got confused. It happens. I don't know that the QB was confused in this case but it's very possible. I just don't think you can automatically blame the coaches on that situation. Sounds like there are other things that cost WO-S this game, not just the kneel down.

Dayton being good in football is good for SETX football..... good win for them.

Builds confidence, helps the culture of the program etc. Now tell me how does playing a team you’re going to get blew out by help a brand new staff and a school that historically is used to losing?

Our server company is having serious issues. Been going on for a week now. Trying to get it resolved, Trying to avoid a massive reboot.

Maybe .. first two games and understanding that secondary might struggle... 5 Sacks 14 TFLs Inside the 20 the Tiger defense gets tight as that LB Corp doesn't have to worry about drop coverage as much. Once that young secondary recognizes that that front seven can handle the run game they will get better on pass defense. Better not hold on to that ball very long. I also know that there will be better passing teams by talent but blocking a front seven that can ALL get after it for 4 qtrs due to depth? Jmo

Pretty ugly 2nd half. A lot of work to do before next week. But, Kingwood is a solid club. LP’s not playing cupcakes. Deer Park only lost to #13 State Ranked Woodlands 30-20 tonight, and Kingwood would probably be a District Champ or Runner Up in most other districts not named 23-6A. They still got to the 6A State Quarterfinals last year only to lose to district mate Summer Creek.

It was a very good win for the Bulldogs I was surprised but happy I thought the running game was a little better than last week and much more disciplined than WOS. The OL was fair and the punter did a good job The offensive negative is absolutely no passing game. The receivers can’t catch a ball Defensively, they held WOS to 6 mainly thanks to penalties for a very undisciplined team. The Bulldogs tackling was not good at all. Way too many missed tackles, but they played hard The problem I see, is if they do not improve a bunch on both sides of the ball, I don’t see them beating Dayton, Montgomery, Huntsville, or PNG. They should have a good chance vs Splendora and West Fork and may have a chance vs Lake Creek I will say that the new coaching staff is doing a fantastic job and the Dogs are young this year, so we should see a lot of improvement
