And what often gets forgotten is Longview has TWO WRs with DI offers. He kinda stands in the shadow of Hale but you absolutely cannot forget about DK Reese (#11) either, the JR 6'3 175 pound specimen on the other side of Hale. I think his number gets called more in this playoff run. Same can be said about the backfield. Tatum is Tatum but sleeping on Alijah Johnson (#15) is not recommended. It's going to be hard to defend this Longview offense, and that to me is the crazy part about this matchup. Because the Crosby offense is already going to have their hands beyond full with the Lobo defense.

I normally like to give coaches a little more credit than most do. Often times, a team isn't winning because of numerous factors outside of their actual ability to coach a team. Vidor had a great backfield with humble and leckelt but couldn't keep their footing enough to gain yardage.the BH receivers had a field day because they knew their routes and our secondary would fall everytime their receivers made a double move. They've had plenty of experience playing in the rain, IMO, especially 2 weeks ago vs Nederland, when they had all the rain and stormy that they could use, to gain experience. Same with midday heat. If they all are healthy and focus on their jobs rain or shine, then they'll beat anybody, including FBM and PAM.

I said very much the same thing and some did not like it. This 3A district has been historically weak, and even going 10-0 locally don't mean a thing if you quickly evaporate in the playoffs. Everyone in TX ignores this district, its not percieved as any threat. Maybe this year the tide will begin to turn. I am supporting Anahuac and the rest. AP could make noise the next few years. If you are talking statewide, I would have to do some research. If just talking our coverage area, I'm on record saying WO-S will beat Bellville.

Just telling you Crosby folks, if you have never played in Longview, your in for a Lobo experience. Everything is Lobo there. The wolf calls and the Longview fans and band on the visitor side. Your down 14 before you get off the bus. The indoctrination is loud and long. Few visitors ever leave Lobo Country with a victory, and if by miracle it should occur, it will be a close nail biter because Longview never goes down easy. My prediction is Longview 56 Crosby 13. Longview is better than anyone you have seen this year or last year. Mark my words.

Allen 'grew' into being the biggest school in the state. Beaumont's history of forced bussing, etc won't allow for that. Allen was a more organic transition

I have attended high school sporting events for many decades. One thing I have learned, regardless of sport, the bleachers are full of coaches. (game officials too)
