If Binden is elected, can we expect this nationwide? I find this more concerning than Covid. [Hidden Content]

There’s no real goal. No finish line. No appeasement. Gangs, thugs, and anarchist only want to attack, kill, disrupt, and destroy. Those aren’t goals, those are people who need to be locked up in Iceberg, Alaska, and forgotten. Jmo

  7. Jeez... I'm trying to find more 5.56 rounds. I'm telling you, there's a freaking run on ammo, and it's not because of Covid.

  8. I’d like to make a point here. I have said before that if someone is really down on their luck and trying to climb out of homelessness, then i would like to see them helped along by society. After reading this article it has done nothing but reinforce by beliefs that these people are homeless by choice. This was a dumb idea from the getgo, but for society to at least attempt to house these people while protecting them from spreading and contracting Covid, and to see what you get in return, is why it is difficult for me to pity them. It is so obvious why they are homeless.

  14. So, if we halt teacher pay, who builds that curriculum for the online learning? Are you going to do that? I'm assuming not since you don't have the time to make sure your kids are getting their work done without standing over the top of them. Also, don't assume most teachers aren't ok with going back to work. As we have learned in today's climate, just because a groups voices are louder than the rest doesn't mean they represent the majority. Trumps election in 2016 proved that to be the case.

  17. Not gonna give names (2 are already obvious at this point with them being 4star recruits) but come out and watch at least 1 Port Arthur Memorial district game in PA then take your picks. 1 Jr RB might surprise you.

  19. I person whose opinion I respect says that blm are indeed marxist. As far as blm making life harder for other blacks, what else is new. Been dealing with that ad nauseam. Ray Ray escapes. The other slaves that stayed get whupped. Ray Ray robs a convenience store. The innocent kid around the way gets shot. Rolling with that conundrum for centuries. Not trying to sound holy rolly, but the only true solution is to die knowing Jesus. I am serious. Don't worry about the one who can take your life. Worry about Him who can throw you body and soul into hell.

  23. This is the reason I don't get on this board anymore....everyone is a political pundit and we can't just talk about high school football. Sir, I grew up in Vidor, Tx, am a lifelong resident and everything you have listed here is absolutely wrong. 1. Whites only After Dark sign was taken down in the late 1960's; it was at a private business on Main Street. It was removed along with the Ku Klux Klan store that was there until 1975. That store stood at the intersection of Main and Old Highway 90. I know this because I bought a black friend of mine a T-shirt from there so he could wear it to school (Orange Stark HIgh). We ran track together. 2. Cross was burned at halftime of the Vidor / PA Lincoln game also in 1974. We were leading 14 - 13 at halftime until the idiots (Klan) did this. Lincoln went on to win by 30 after that. I've attended nearly every Vidor home game since the early 70's and don't recall a cross being burned at a Central football game. I do remember both teams going to the center of the football field and praying together after each game. 3. Due to heavy pressure from the FBI, the KKK was essentially gone from my hometown by 1980. Most of the leadership of the KKK relocated to Cleveland, TX. They were also the ones that marched in Vidor when the housing project was desegregated in 1992. This would be the march that Henry Cisneros was involved in.No monthly meetings but if I hear about one, I'll let you know. 4. Black children have been attending Vidor schools since the late 1980's without much fanfare and not any incidents I'm aware of. If President Obama is black, then we have approximately 100 black children in Vidor schools now. But, since none of us Americans can claim a straight, pure racial heritage back to Noah, who knows what race of kids we have. We're all pretty well mongrels. 5. We can't do anything about how much Evadale stinks. 6. BLM marched in Vidor without incident, I know, I was there; I agree with the message in part. Funny thing is that you want to erase the Confederate history of the US but won't forget the history of my hometown. That's the problem with leftists, selective memory and revisionist history. 7. If you truly feel badly about living in Bridge City, be somebody, move to Vidor!!!

  26. FBI Stats for 2018: 2,426 black/African-American victims of hate crimes in 2018, 920 Jewish victims and 236 Muslim victims. Adjusting for the population size of each group (43.84 million blacks in 2018 according to the Census Bureau and 6.2 million Jews and 3.6 million Muslims based on Pew Research Center data, the hate crime victimization rates in 2018 per 100,000 population of each group were 14.8 for Jews, 6.6 for Muslims and 5.5 for blacks; therefore, adjusted for population by group, American Jews were 2.7 times more likely than blacks to be a victim of a hate crime last year, and more than twice as likely than a Muslim to be a hate crime victim. Im just posting the stats.

  27. In 2020, blacks are so IGNORANT of their own past and what was fought for on their own behalf that y’all are now advocating “separate but equal.” THIS^^^ It’s hard take you serious when you speak as if all black people are ignorant. STOP it. That alone is offensive. I am offended when I am lumped in with all bad law enforcement officers. Try a different approach or quit beating around the bush and just say that you have a problem with all people of color. I have much respect for anybody that speaks how they truly feel in the front and not behind ones back. (Flip flopping) I have a better understanding of who I am dealing with when the individual is up front. No love lost or feelings hurt. I may not like you and you may not like me but at the end of the day we will respect one another. I know all people of color are not hateful or evil. I work side by side among the finest men of valor and honor whom I would lay down my life for. I don’t care that there skin color is different than mine. I don’t live in southeast Texas and I won’t judge it based off what I have heard from this message board. I refuse to lump all of you in one category. It’s just wrong and there no place for it. I believe you had a bad experience growing up in PAT (sorry if I got wrong) and it must to have been rough and we may never know but your true feelings show.

Exactly my point. I think @ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING gets a little handy with reality vs. emotion. Several mayors have asked for a mask mandate, but not a “forced lockdown” like he’s preaching. Needs to change his name to EMOTIONAL REACTION IS EVERYTHING. Lol.

Here is what I fear happening that would have a deeper impact on SETX games as currently scheduled. "#BREAKING: @AusPublicHealth issues emergency order: -Public/private schools can't do in-person learning until after Sept 7 -Sports + activities can't happen until in-person learning starts -Schools must develop & submit a plan to local health authority and make it public" If Harris or Dallas County does this. Football in September is toast.
