Here's a fun scenario. Let's say EC loses to OF.. and Anahuac loses to CS. If Hardin could beat CS and then beat KV... there would be a 3 way tie for 2nd between Hardin, Anahuac, and EC. I believe Hardin would get the 2 seed in that scenario lol. That would be quite a situation. But.. Hardin would have to beat CS. And Anahuac would have to not. Those are both up in the air.

Same coach. Short version is you had 2 years of SR classes quitting on the program in 2022 and 2023. In 2022 at one point I looked on the field and there were SEVEN freshmen playing defense. That's rough lol. They are all now experienced JRs and they have 3 STUD SRs that will all play college ball. The JR group never lost a game from 5th grade all the way till 9th when most got pulled up to Varsity. I guess this ended up being the long version.

I may have made a rush to judgement last night and feel the need to apologize to the players and fans of PNG. At the time, I didn’t realize that the field was being rushed by fans when the PNG players were walking off the field. I said it was unsportsmanlike and I was wrong. I believe strongly in sportsmanship and, let’s face it, in every sport from the pros down, everything has become “in your face” after every play. To me, personal celebration after making routine plays is a slap in the face to your teammates who, without them on the field, could you have still made the play? My love for the game keeps me viewing, so I have to endure it. Well, enough for my rant. To all of the PNG faithful, I apologize for my rush to judgement.
