Kirbyville wins the Region with a DH sweep today over Thrall. They trailed 3-0 in the 1st game and 5-1 in the 2nd game, but just kept battling.

King has done well for being picked to finish 5th in District.

Interesting that neither team was picked to win the District, yet here they are in the Region Final.

It’s the only Saturday game in the Houston area. So, definitely could pull a few more football fans

Certainly if PNG can do those things, they have a chance. I can see this being a one score game. I can also see SOC by 28. Every game is different, so we’ll see what happens.

So if PNG loses by 28, it will be an improvement.

I did too. It was across the street from The Woodlands. I was on the Heritage side. Less crowded.

FG’s were 41, 36, and 35 yards.

Heritage’s defense played really well and kept them in the game. PNG’s defense did also. Heritage couldn’t move the ball, but had the the 2 big pass plays to score. Other than that, they had maybe 1 or 2 first downs. PNG FG kicker was clutch with the 3 FG’s and the Indians needed each of them.

So basically Conroe ISD has 6 teams: 2 in Conroe and 4 in the Woodlands. Conroe and Caney Creek play at Morehead in Conroe. The other 4 schools: The Woodlands, College Park, Oak Ridge, and Grand Oaks play at Woodforest.
