I wasn’t comparing the teams to say one is better based on scoring averages. Just saying both teams can score. Neither has been held below 35 all year. Montgomery also plays their backups. In during the 3rd Qtr against Huntsville. Montgomery is a pretty solid team. Seems a little delulu to pick PNG by 28.

Really does look like a 50-50 game. Both teams average over 40 points a game. Last years game was tight. I like Montgomery’s chances at home.

Anybody been to Montgomery ISD stadium this year? Supposedly they were adding more seating for this season. Just curious if the visitor side has more room.

That should give Huntsville the 3 seed. Lake Creek should get the 4 seed but West Fork still has a path. Not likely though.

This was 34-7 late and NW tacked on a couple of TD’s in the last 4 minutes to make it 34-21.

Because it’s a complete mismatch.

Huntsville vs. Lake Creek. Looks like the 3rd/4th place game.

It would be funny to see a 27 point favorite field storm. As I recall, Ned was a 21 point dog last year.

I think that score from 2012 was 51-0. I have found that there are a lot of old scores on Max Preps that are just wrong. I don’t know if some child goes in there and changes them or what. It is frustrating. My research shows that the only time Warren has ever beat Newton was 1979 by the score 20-19.

After last year, definitely not a trap game.

I’d be iffy about AS and Woodville. Best bet for Kountze is beating NW.

PNG/Montgomery on Oct 31 will be the 1st/2nd game and Huntsville/Lake Creek on Oct 24 will be the 3rd/4th game. Always could be upsets but I think this is the most likely.

Hornets looked a like different team in the 2nd half. They scored TD’s on every drive. Dayton with the critical bad snap on 4th and goal at the 1 yard line late in the 3rd Qtr. QB Prieto was out of the game at the time. Also the missed X point cost the Broncos.

QB run on 4th down gets the 1st down. Hornets escape Dayton with the W.
