Huntsville vs. Lake Creek next week will most likely be the 3rd/4th place game.

Hornets looked a like different team in the 2nd half. They scored TD’s on every drive. Dayton with the critical bad snap on 4th and goal at the 1 yard line late in the 3rd Qtr. QB Prieto was out of the game at the time. Also the missed X point cost the Broncos.

Dayton leads 21-7 at the half. Lots of penalties and mental mistakes for Huntsville. If they don’t fix that, it will certainly be a Dayton win tonight.

2011-2014 they were good. Even playing December football according to Max Preps, which doesn’t look right to me. Nothing since then.

According to Max Preps last year: Boys futbol was 5-13-4 and Girls futbol was 2-15-7. So, No.

Lake Creek has to favored by more than that. I’d say at least 14-20 points. A win here for Lake Creek puts them in great position for a playoff spot.

Both PNG and Montgomery get the same back to back bye weeks during district play. Both teams should be rested for that Oct 31 showdown.

87% of Cleveland ISD is Hispanic and many of those don’t speak much English. I can’t think of a single sport they have been competitive.
