For those of you going to this game. Marco's piizza in Liberty is really good pizza. I had the original Pepperoni Magnifico and it was delicious. One thing I did I wouldn't recommend if you're going to eat while driving and that is to get extra sauce, makes it kind of messy.

CC looked liked a homerun hire from the start. If he and Bronson stay the course I think we will see Jasper at a consistent level that everyone expects of them. The offense has such a long ways to go still. Every pass looks like a hail mary. In time I know that will improve. The qb is the critical piece in this scheme. He has the wheels that we need and won this game with his feet for us, but the finesse and timing on the passing game takes years to hone. I would love to see more quick timing routes and action across the grain of play. We a couple very talented wrs if we can get the ball close to them. Any good slingers at the lower levels on the way?

First,hello to my cousin Terry. I am a CT supporter. I think the change had nothing to do with hiring a winning coach. I think you will find out that the people who wanted change were not true football fans.

If both teams were required to only play the seniors for this game, would Nederland have enough seniors? It's a weird thought. But I would expect that the seniors will all at least start. This will be my first MCM game to attend (God willing) in many years, I can't remember the last one I was able to make. More than 20 years, for sure. In the last few years I've seen middle school, freshman and JV games between the two, but no Friday night MCM games. From what I hear, we should get there early.

I hate to hear about what's going on down there. I really hope it's just a bump in the road and that WOS gets somewhere close to what Mustang fans expect very soon. That may sound a bit naive coming from an outsider that is long gone from the area, but I love the rivalry as much as the one we have with Silsbee. We've seen the downfall of teams like LaMarque, Willowridge, etc. and it would be sad to see you guys heading down that road. If Hickman isn't the guy, who truly is? Now, Jasper fans have gone through this more than once and it looks like we finally found the guy that can bring us the same sustained success (or better) that we had a few decades back. Crumedy has that "it" factor and seems to have changed the culture from the minute he took the job. The Bulldogs seem to be getting better quickly, too.

Was at most of the game and Buna played hard and has a tough group of kids but Anahuac has a pretty good team this year. Their freshman qb can spin it and they run a system that fits their personnel. Hope they can go a few rounds deep in the playoffs.

HF will go at least 3 rounds deep. They are legit. Spencer and Zeno are tough combo to stop. You add the WR who torched Silsbee, you will have some playoff magic in HF. Good luck the rest of the season.

At the end of the day, these are 16-18 yr old kids. They get cocky and buy into the hype, they don’t prepare hard and don’t take certain opponents seriously, and they come out flat. It happens weekly across the state. Timpson did they same thing tonight in Joaquin, although the Rams are a solid team. Timpson squeaked it out by making adjustments and waking up the 2nd half. It seems like PAM’s coaches failed to do the same. I’d love to see a program like Memorial with a coach like Therwanger.

But their RB gashed Silsbee for 165 yards. Zeno did a very good job passing against the Tigers.

Great win Tigers! Had some tough moments late, even had that its over look a little. But a big stop and then big time players making big plays to pull it out. I have to say i was very impressed with HF tonight. I had seen people stating that they were a 1 man show, but much like the Tigers there is more than 1 player on that team. Great effort and game by both teams!
