Thats the problem no one wants to be held accountable in BISD!! It definitely was a buddy decision!!! last 33 games was 0-33 but he got the job!!!!

For all of those that still think that it's not all about coaching, do not have to look any further than B. United. I observed PNG and United play. They have the talent to compete. You don't combine two Beaumont schools and NOT have the talent. Who ever hired this 0-30 coach needs to be questioned. Did any one honestly think that the outcome was be any different from what is happening? Again -- this is a shame for the kids and fans. AGAIN -- as shown here, it's all about the coaching!

Well it did for awhile, everyone has their opinion about the coaching situation at BU. Like what was mentioned earlier in this thread, lets just play the hand that was dealt to BU. Personally its just sad that our kids have to deal with it, my son has no earthly idea that I'm a lil upset about the coaching situation. So i'm just going to sit and enjoy my son's last 3 months of high school and head on to DUKE in January to start a new chapter in his life. I just hope things change for the better at BU for the kids sake!!!

I'm just glad i can be a voice for my son bc most of the kids at BU doesn't have a voice!! i'm definitely on the wagon for success because when kids quit the program bc of yall NEWBIES i make contact with them bc football needs them and they need football!! I never will tell a kid i dont need him let him quit!!

Do not no much about the Bears but if they run the ball we need to just not waste a trip there on a Thursday night. We attempt to run a 3 3 5 without having the proper personnel. Our head coach hired a DC that was at a middle school in CE King. He also was not retained at Sam Houston prior to CE King. This is the same guy that doesn't make scripts for practice and the same guy that was regulated to the press box only! The coaches that were brought in are terrible!! We have a 5ft 2in DLINE coach that was a middle school coach in Dayton as well. He has no idea what he is doing. Oh i almost forgot, he is the strength and conditioning coach as well. The kids lift heavy everyday up till Thursday; one practice the kids couldn't even finish practice bc of dead legs. They did a leg workout in 8th period and right after school had practice. I know we had a few local guys put their name in the hat and they did not even get a second interview. I promise you they could not have been worst than the HC now. BISD lets do something right and get a coach that care about the kids and want to be here! The kids are suffering dearly bc of all political crap. We have 3 outstanding coaches walking around campus that want to be on the staff but the HC has not approached them at all about coaching bc of whatever reason and BU is 5 coaches short this season!! SMH!!!!

WOS did contact Carthage and was told no. That's actually true. There was some talk that Carthage might close school for COVID. But Coach T has been told no by multiple schools.

Silsbee played Smithville a few years ago in the playoffs. Played them at Woodforest Bank Stadium in the Woodlands.

There scedule usually does not allow it and there offense style does not either although I did see 2017 Kennedale made the list at #33 way ahead of wos on the list and we seen how they got blown out by us in the state game that year this record reflects on how weak of a schedule you had 98% of the time

Competitive, hmmmm...WOS mistakes made the game competitive. Too many missed tackles, costly penalties, and an almost nonexistent passing game. WOS will right the ship...thats for sure.

Score is not misleading.It indicates a competitive game which it was.I do agree on the tackling and passing needs to improve.

Well he should be held accountable on his buddy's job performance.

Tomball's Oline is big and plays nasty. The QB is extremely athletic. They will go 4 wide just to run everyone off and then the qb will run. Defense isn't special. Special teams will onside at least 2 times and they will run a fake punt a couple of times. If PNG isn't careful on special teams, Tomball will steal 2-4 extra possessions. They have won multiple games over the past 2 seasons because of this. I personally don't have a dog in this fight. But Id be willing to bet Tomball will win this game by more than the talent disparity between the 2 teams.

First, I have no desire to be on the sidelines because BISD vision and my vision do not match up. Actually its not hard talking on a thread bc if you know football its easy. Just because i do not coach do mean i dont know football. It doesnt matter where the coaches are from but i just hate that BISD allows coaches to come in a use our kids as test dummies bc of a coach thats learning or has no varsity experience!!! 3 3 5 is a nickle defense. Well it was when i played, its designed to stop the pass not the run!! Its called a nickle for a reason, 5 DB's to cover not tackle!!! Colleges recruit hybrid kids to run this scheme. You cant come to a high school and put that as your base defense without knowing the type of kids you have. A good DC adjust his base to the strength of his personnel. Not say he didnt come hear to run no one else DEFENSE!! We cant stop the run!!! Next, the coaches may spend countless hours preparing so we should see it on the field on Fridays than!! Being able to agree to disagree is a must in any career field!! Height has nothing to do with it but i promise you he cant teach a swim move by an interior lineman. LOL Next if the HC keep trusting his DC he will not have to look for another job, he will get fired!!!!

That’s what I’m saying, there is no time in the pocket because Casey collapses it. Manvel double teamed and still really didn’t have time to throw on straight dropbacks. Carthage threw the ball well against because they went off play-action a bunch and froze guys. The only really play-action I see PA run is when they’re in a two back set and fake the handoff to one back and throw underneath to the other. PAM couldn’t even block #54 from BH and the tackles had to hold almost every time #34 came on an edge rush. The majority of Sanders’ rushing yards came on one play where the BH d-line missed two tackles in the backfield first, Crosby is a little more athletic than that. The vast majority of PA’s offense against BH was drop straight back and try to let the receivers run past their dbs. We’ll see how that works this week.

Nah. The 2011 and 2012 Central teams were arguably the worse two teams to walk those halls. Also, I remember a time when Ozen was the cream of the crop when it came to football talent in Beaumont. Ozen fell off proportionately when West Brook’s talent rose back up. I think since it’s two High schools now, we should see an evening up process, but will the coaching staffs even out is my question. BU had a chance to get Coach Langston but didn’t even give him a second interview. Now WB has him and appears to have that program looking good.

The Indians offense is going top be just fine. They literally have a few bugs to work out. They have the weapons in place with a good offensive line and one of Faircloths better RBs in his time here.
