Keep in mind the Carthage starters almost never finish the game. Typically their opponent will score once or twice at the end of the game. Surratt will normally pull the starters as soon as he can.

Scott Surratt is really hard to beat. Happens on rare occasion but really hard to do. These are high school kids so anything can happen but I'm guessing Carthage is at least 21 points better. The private school last week was big and fast. It looked brutally physical from my vantage point.

Can't wait for September 25th.

Based on your theory, think I'll see if I can pay Scott Surratt to go to Vegas with me

We have established that Jefferson is the main RB in a run heavy team. Any stats on the passing and receiving?

Thank you for allowing me to have a different opinion.

I disagree. Surratt, Preston, and staff will have a game plan totally focused on what WOS does. Ninety percent of WOS offense is one guy running the ball. Carthage has at least one running back that is clearly superior to Jefferson but Surratt will always have a balanced attack. This will be very lopsided.

Carthage has played 3 teams that are better than WOS.

Carthage normally faces the stiffest competition pre-championship game. Anything can happen with kids playing a game, but I predict this will be one the more comfortable championship games for Carthage. Surratt is clearly the GOAT for good reason.

Subs played all second half.

Probably enough to be the difference in the score. Saw a photo of that foot and it was a bad swollen mess.

58-14 final

All Carthage starters out. 58-0

51-0 Carthage 4:20 left in 3rd.

Jasper will have fun next week.
