The last opportunity Crosby had to finish as undefeated district champions was 2017. We were 9-0 and heavily favored and lost at home to New Caney 63-38. More impactful part was that loss dropping us into the D2 #2 seed which set up the 72-69 loss to PNG in bi-district. Nederland always matches up well with Crosby. They usually have just enough personnel wise and play at that slower pace that seems to complicate things for the Cougars. Crosby has been the best team in 12-5A-D2 all year and has a chance to finish off their most impressive run through district play that I can remember. Ned is trying to prove they’re the best team in the district at the end of the year. This is exactly where both teams were hoping to be when the season started.

We got donkey stomped and they only ran about 4 or 5 plays. Surely someone could have suggested they change something up to stop those 4 or 5 plays. Or how about watch some game film and copy it hay others used to stop them. Nederland held them to 10 points, that would have been a good starting point.

He was 14-18 for 275 yards and 3 TD with no interceptions. Another very efficient game. Carthage passing game is really clicking. Had 2 one play TD drives where he dropped dimes on the receivers. One for 35 yards and one for 94 yards. For the season 131 of 180 for 2,249 yards. 26 TD and 2 Int. 73% completion is outstanding, especially in this Carthage offense. Not a lot of easy short passes to pad the completion % stats.

They have some kids that can play. The Boudreaux kid went from being a knockdown shooter (even as a freshman contributed heavily) to a PG who can do it all. In fact, he went off for 30+ in a win over a playoff Nederland team a couple of years ago. Now, because he’s transitioned into a prototypical PG who doesn’t put up 25 shots a game, he won’t get as much credit with the typical fan who doesn’t make it past points on the stat sheet. But he’s a “make his teammates better and play to win” kid.

I came to check in on the daily tampon change out but I've see y'all are already in infowars territory so reality has gone by the wayside. What I will say is the one common theme all of you seem to not be able to grasp is voter turnout and what demographics are tired of trump. Trump mostly won because black people didn't go vote for Hillary in the industrial Midwest the way they voted for Obama, particularly Wayne and Milwaukee counties where trump flipped Michigan and Wisconsin on basically those two areas. Now you see the turnout in Philly approaching where it was with Obama which is going to allow Biden to flip Pennsylvania back blue. While trump has made headway with non-college educated whites over the last four years he's bled support from college educated whites in the suburbs which is why you see the metropolitan areas driving the state results more along the lines of Obama's elections versus the rural voter driving trump to victory in 2016. What's really a shame is that democrats have to win the popular vote by dang near four percentage points to win a presidential election now. Something that's even more obvious from following the president on Twitter is that the message of "The election is rigged", "The ballots are fraudulent", "You can't trust mail-in votes" resonated with trump people and they waited until election day to go vote in person. On the flip side all you heard form democratic candidates was, "Vote early", "Vote by mail", "Walk your ballot in past X date with trump's guy slowing down the mail". Both groups listened. Congratulations, now you get to have to same end of the world feeling that democrats had when the most ignorant and xenophobic s.o.b. to hold the White House since Coolidge was screening Birth of a Nation there.
