I have no problem with the offensive play calling. Very good game plan vs PN-G. My problem is The Indians came out of halftime with a new offensive game plan and we made no adjustments on defense. It all started with that zone read where Bost kept it (got about 10 yards a pop). That opened up those slant plays. Indians had maybe 60 yards of total offense in the first half and in the second half, I’m willing to bet they had almost 350 yards of offense. You cannot lose a game when you were up 26-0. But I did take some positives from this game. 1. BU’s Thomas is a gamer and will be a force in this district. 2. The young Safety Porchia did really well in getting his hands out to deflect passes. 3. Teams won’t be picking on #2 Rivers 4. Our young o-line held their own all night. 5. PN-G’s Bost is the truth. 6. PNG’s defensive issues is NOT a players issue. Take that however you want to take it. 7. On Texan Live, I don’t know who I hate the most out of the Camera Man or the audio guy.

My son was out there getting his butt whipped by a 6’ 8” 336 O lineman, and all I could think about was how impressed I was with their whole system. Awesome to watch a team that does it the right way.

They beat HJ in Fannett with HJ’s best player on the sidelines with a boot on his foot. I’ve watched a lot of basketball over the Last 60+ years so I’d like to think I’m somewhat informed. HF is definitely better than they have been in several years but that doesn’t change the fact that they did finish 4th in the district. I just ain’t convinced we should have them cutting down the nets just yet.

good point - It would definitely help if we didn’t stay on auto pilot through the first two quarters. I think PNG is showing a lot of potential, tons of room to improve, and a lot of talent to work with. We’ll be in the mix for district.

It's just a one person crew (young lady was operating tonight). It was her very first time. The audio was on their end. SETXsports broadcast had no issues. Next time just pull up the audio broadcast if no sound is coming thru on the video side.

If they have say 2 players at any point this season get hurt their footballs over, they have more cheerleaders than they do football players, heck highisland had way more kids suited up than WH did... it’s not just football either like I said I another post a week or so back they had zero boys in powerlifting and if track wouldn’t have been canceled they wouldn’t have even been able to put a relay team together and WH “usually” competes very well in both powerlifting and track....it’s sad really

Orange County claims 6 have died to date from the virus. Somehow I’ve ended up with 3 estates where the person died from corona, two I knew pretty well, neither in terrible shape. (Age range from mid 50s to mid 70s.). And we hear the deaths are over reported. I have a hard time believing that half the people who died in this county had their family end up in my office. But point being, most of the time people handle it well, but it can go horribly wrong. The older you are, and the heavier you are, the higher risk. Prayers for our president and First Lady. Seen some hateful things online today about them and their condition. Regardless of how you feel about him or his politics, you have to be a sick individual to wish anyone to die.
