  1. While I completely agree with that 89 should have better things to do than criticize the few people who are actually trying to keep this website going after the loss of WOSgrad and AAW......Splendora with nicer houses? Come on man.....we've earned a little more credit than that. Jdawg, thank you for continuing to do the work you are doing so far this year to maintain the quality of this board. I'd assume we will never again find men line WOS and AAW who will put in the work to make this site what it has been, but I applaud your efforts to try and keep it afloat. I know there are talented contributors from each city represented here, I just wish there was a way to bring them into the fold and utilize those talents. It seems that these days time is short for all of us and adding anything extra is crippling. Ignore the idiots who occasionally poke their heads up out of the sand.

  3. It's easy to talk about being impeached twice. But let me ask you: What high crimes and misdemeanors did Trump commit while in office to warrant this action?

  4. So we're ranking 4th graders now? Did people not learn from the Cody Paul hype? You gotta wait until these kids hit puberty.

  5. Please post if you hear or see anything. Include how many players participate even freshman as well. I remember someone always post the topic so I decide to keep and carry on as traditional.

  10. Newton’s numbers looked good for 3A-2 numbers. No size, no speed, nothing to see here.

  11. Teams have players that leave the program every year, you just don’t hear about It most of the time. Newton has two for sure and may be one more player at this time that played last year that chose not to play this year. This is nothing new to Nederland or any other team, coaches deal with this every year. Don’t worry about those that left, the team is better off without them. Support the ones that stayed and move on.

I guess it's natural for naysayers to always point to coaching first when things don't go as they want...teams and talent change from year to year...it has always amazed how closely a coaches success is tied to the quality of his talent pool...there seems to be a pretty close relationship there...to me, this is the same coaching staff that tremendously overachieved just season before last by making round 3 with a team that not many felt could go that far...things didn't go the way fans liked last year, so now "we ain't happy"...the coaches are the same, and for my money, I will take Nederland's staff any day of the week...to me, they have proven to get the most out of what they have and more importantly, do a good job of developing young men (isn't that their most important job?) I don't know too much about this year's team...sounds like they might be young and I know they have had some losses that have, from what little I know, have very little to do with football or the football program...brings me back to a young Nederland team in 2010 that started and played a bunch of sophomores due to injuries, etc...that team improved as the year went on, rode some senior leadership along with those youngsters and managed a decent, playoff season...in 2011 and 2012, that group was dominant and won back to back district titles without losing a district game and going 3 and 4 rounds deep respectively, with the 2012 team ranked in the Top 10 most of the season and beating #1 ranked Pearland Dawson...let's let this young group develop and improve this year, see what they can do, and then hope for bigger and better things as they gain experience and confidence...I have all the faith in the world that this coaching staff will get every ounce they can out of them, this year and beyond

  13. If they can't take the heat, or want to focus on one sport so be it. The kids that want to work will be there.

  15. Agree, the only folks more ridiculous than the snowflakes that voted against a very successful President simply because they thought he was offensive are the folks that defend their ignorance.

  16. The only ones who hated him are the communists. Oops, you voted for him twice so that gives you an out. I respect people who stand “for” something with conviction. The negative ones have no guidance in their lives so they must drag everyone else down with them. They’re a sorry lot, to be perfectly honest.

  17. It is going to be tough to find 22 kids who can play out of those 170. I feel bad for Nederland and the huge disadvantage they have being in this bully of a district.

  18. Dude, y’all are literally Splendora with nicer houses. I wouldn’t be making comments about the literary structure of anything on this site if I was you. Beyond that though, please feel free to take time out of whatever you have going on, they way they have, to write whatever you feel necessary about Huffman’s upcoming season.

  23. They’re scum, Majority of Republicans included. They never want to do a stand alone bill to address serious issues. They like to use the serious issue as the title of bill while they rape the American taxpayers. Majority of these people literally sell their soul to the Devil when they get to DC. The two things they worry about is 1 - getting elected and 2- getting re-elected. The peoples business is never one and two. Trump didn’t give a 💩. He went to there to do a job an didn’t care who he pissed off an got things done. He’s not a politician that’s why the American people like him an continue to support him.
