  1. I dont know what PNG has coming back to support thier QB, but he played very well against BH last year. If it wasn't for a late 4th quarter pick PNG would still be undefeated against the Eagles. All three (BH, Crosby & PNG) will be tough outs this year.

  3. Lost in all of the hoopla was the fact that it was a very sad day as two longtime coaches passed away. Andrew Washington, former Central head coach and longtime assistant at Beaumont-Charlton-Pollard, Central and most recently at Kelly, passed away on Monday. [Hidden Content] Also, Del Basinger, long time coach and most recently an assistant at West Orange-Stark before his retirement in 2018, passed away on Tuesday morning. [Hidden Content] Both gentlemen will be missed.

  4. But that implies that HISD backs off of the order it had last week that extended virtual learning only until mid October and dictated no extracurricular activities until then. I saw the same tweet you did, but I also had the same question Soulja did when I saw it.

  5. Houston ISD so wacky. That's a haul up to J'Ville though, and those 2 have a lil history, playoff history. They have a nice stadium too, puppy fans better bring ear plugs, you'll hear why once you're there.

  7. I think this is the point: one group - “no prayer in schools; no student led bible study groups; no mention of Christ or God on Christmas, Easter, etc.” Also same group - “schools should teach kids more about Islam.” It’s separation of church and state. Not separation of Christianity and state.

At least two police departments in Jefferson County have drone units with multiple drones each I command one of them....

  13. You don't need all the people you think you do in a a refinery. There's a reason why the Golden has been taken out of Golden Triangle. It's called Automation. The new units only need 3-4 people to operate production. It used to take 10 times the amount of people to operate such facilities. The only time you need massive amount of people is for maintenance and turnarounds. That's a one time deal. The area isn't growing because it refuses to diversify. Same with electric substations, power plants and pipeline structures, which are operated remotely. You only send people out there when there's a problem. I know this because I design these facilities. 99 percent of traffic stops are fishing expeditions that target minorities, even though white people are more likely to be carrying contraband. So yes, kill out traffic stops and save the officers to clear traffic accidents and escort funeral processionals. If you really need an x-ray, you're going to the doctor because you're messed up, but most of the visits we make don't involve that. it's my head hurts, or I got a little cough so just give me some pills so I can feel better. Communion? There's always grape juice. You missed my point. if we would have stayed in, then we wouldn't be in this situation now. I'd like to see the games but I'm not so sure that now is the best time to play a contact sport when there's not any good guidance on how to play and minimize transmission. There's 1200 HS teams and there's no way to quarantine each team like there is in the pros. And our kids are playing for their enjoyment, not money. So there's no economic incentive for the participants, only the risk of catching a disease that could result in long term health risks and even death. You may be okay with the risks, but a lot of people aren't. That doesn't make them less tough than you. It just means they prioritize their health over other entertainment.

    Drones

Texas has the most restrictive drone laws in the country. That includes specifics restrictions on law enforcement. There are also federal FAA regulations. You have to be a FAA licensed commercial drone pilot (called sUAV for small unmanned aerial vehicle) to fly for anything other than a hobby, it restricts how high you can fly, no night flights without an FAA waiver, no flying over people, all commercial drones have to be individually registered with its own numbers displayed just like a manned aircraft, etc. Then there are court rulings on unlawful searches.

  21. Going to be very interesting see PNG, Crosby, and BH Duke it out... I can easily seeing it be PNG beating BH, BH beating Crosby, Crosby beating PNG. Throwing into a 3 way tie... I don’t see anyone in the district going undefeated this year unless a illegal iPad use is involved 👀👀😂

  24. Also: i think it'll be a really close game at The Rez, very interested in seeing Png's explosive offense go up against what should be a more experienced Memorial defense. Whatever the outcome it'll get us ready for the very next week versus BH, who is very similar to Png.

  26. Highly unlikely against all 3, maybe the first game, but i don't see it for the other 2, unless they just annihilate Png and catch people eye.

  27. Well durn, was looking for Vidor an opponent, but Waco La Vega & Argyle are okay on second week. CC Miller is okay. Calallen ok. There’s Evadale, but that ain’t right, even though Ltown did play them last year.

  41. If there's one thing this has taught us, we can survive without sports. We can survive without movies and concerts. Isn't it crazy that we idolize, follow, and imitate athletes and celebrities who have been proven to be non-essential by Covid?

  43. Just curious.... How many kids have died from this disease since it started? [Hidden Content] and CHA - Children and COVID-19 State Data Report 7.9.20 FINAL.pdf As of 7/9.... a grand total of 69 kids in the US have been reported as dying from COVID. Keep in mind that some states are counting people aged 0-24 years as "children." Who knows how accurate that this is. And I agree that "even one life lost is one life too many." But i'm going to go out on a limb and say that we're losing more kids to bicycle crashes and drownings. It's time to get back to school and make adjustments when (because they will happen) outbreaks occur.

  44. Way more kids died from the Flu this past season than the Covid-19, and way more adults have died from Covid-19 in the ages 65 and above and with underlying conditions for the most part. Now the vast (not all) amount of teachers are well under 65 years of age. So in my opinion we just need to open the schools and quit living in fear that some politicians and a lot of the media are shoving down our throats.
