What else are we supposed to say honestly? You guys (I love your stuff, no kidding) but you promote and glorify teams along with the UIL who gain advantages. Everyone knows what's coming and it's extremely difficult to compete with it. And somehow it's "racist" to bring up recruiting? Still haven't figured that one out. It is what it is man. The rules are there that allow it currently but it doesn't impress me. They have the most transfers in the state. That should not be allowed OR the school should be able to do it if they move up to a much higher classification. It's common sense to most but not all for some reason. Crown them. Without getting into specific details, I’ll just remind folks that SpecOps operate under different ROE’s than conventional military units. Yes. They still operate under international laws and rules of combat while in uniform, or under the flag of the U.S. But, rules are vastly more flexible. Typically, a USN vessel assisting in deterring criminal activity will replace their fleet flags with a Coast Guard flag, and thus—technically—be under CG control with the legal protections offered. It can be debated if designating a group a terrorist organization makes them a military or criminal target. I don’t have details on the attack in September. If true SpecOps, much of what you’re hearing from the chattering class is inaccurate/incomplete due to their lack of knowledge of the incident, and in the different ROE’s. Rest assured, when uniformed DOD personnel are involved, JAG is also involved at every level in the chain. They are the experts in military law. Not civilian lawyers, pundits, or politicians. If Congress wants to change something, they need to pass a resolution of some sort defining when/how POTUS can use force. History has shown—all the way back to Jefferson and the Barbary pirates—that POTUS has the authority to defend the U.S. and it’s interests with military force. ‘Defending the U.S.’ is the gray area in this case just as it was with many previous Presidents, including Obama and Libya, and Biden and the Houthis. Finally, I’d be especially concerned how leaks from military operations were still occurring.

Kountze returned 1 player from last years team, and he averaged about 4 minutes a game of court time. There are 4-5 kids walking the halls that would have a tremendous impact, and likely would have gotten them the 3 seed/4 seed at worst. As far as the future goes, Kountze will be just fine. 6-7 years ago, Kountze had a 3-27 seasons (roughly), even the Sells led group missed the playoffs as Freshman and Sophomores. I don't think Kountze has another run as dominate as last year's' team in the foreseeable future, but they are going to field some pretty dang good teams sooner than later. The 7th-8th grade groups will have a pretty good mesh of players. It's obviously premature to project much further than that, but the 4th-6th graders have a very talented group of kids.

PAM a lot BH little to none PAM wins big. The previous game benefits PAM more. This may be the Titans year the make the state game.

So, try and think rational. 1. You want a “list” of all the people that hurt kids. Do you honestly think if this “list” was real, the Biden DOJ would have sat on it for 4 years? I consider myself a pretty common sense guy, if I thought there was really a list, I would want the victims to confirm….and btw, if they KNOW of a crime, Non disclosure agreements cannot legally conceal crimes such ad sex trafficking or assault….so why are the victims not releasing the folks that hurt children? Can you answer any of the above questions?

NO, not at all. OMG where did you get that??? I told some other fans / friends two weeks ago that IF BH and PAM were to meet in the 4th round Doggett Stadium would be the only realistic choice. It would not make any sense to ask PAM to drive through Mont Belvieu to play at Stallworth, LP, CEK, or anywhere else west. Doggett is as fair as it can get. That said, it IS right in the heart of the 409, and it is closer to PAM. Lets be real. This is a de facto home game for PAM, but it IS the most sensible choice. No one is really challenging that. I am not. Now, what is the deal people? Does anyone ever give me the benefit of the doubt on anything?

I don’t think Silsbee is that bad , i saw some good things and a lot of bad things, but thats my opinion. Do they have the talent of past years of course not, but i think they can win with what they have . They are not ready to contend with schools like BU, WB, or those that are deep in roster size. The coach just has to find a style he and the team are comfortable playing and perfect it . I think they are a playoff team in their district which is all that matters just continue to play hard a figure it out before district comes around.

BH going to have to play near perfect to pull this one off. I expect a few big plays from PA and BH will need to weather that and try and sustain drives that result in TDs. PA defense is as good or better than the offense so negative plays will be hard to overcome. Expect a closer score in this go around unless PA builds a big lead early. Playing catch up could result in turnovers for the Eagles. Big underdogs by most so play with nothing to lose. Good luck to both teams. I’ll be rooting’ for the Titans to go all the way if BH can’t make it happen.

Lost 4/5 starters to graduation … The starter that was all state as a sophomore moved to HJ… The first 2 guys off the bench graduated…3 others that had varsity experience just decided not to even play… So essentially they brought back like 2-3 players from the entire team last year and those kids never saw the court much at all.

If you looked at the scoreboard of the state championship game in 2023 you wouldn't have thought PN-G did much offensively but it was a master class of offensive genius with the scheme you mentioned it was just much harder to get scores down inside the 20 because the safeties for SOC were able to play closer to the LOS Terrell had this same issue last week

Open enrollment and gloves are legitimate gripes i think the UIL will address those issues eventually...PN-G has a couple of offensive lineman coming back in addition to what you mentioned and that's not including the defense PN-G will be good again next year

BTW, here's exactly what I said about BH vs. Weiss. You tell me how far off-base I was. (Except for the obvious wrong winner pick, which came down to a botched snap on a tying FG in OT.) 'To me, BH has a chance because of a fairly well balanced O. Maybe they can keep Weiss a little off balance on D. At the least, Weiss will have to respect the BH pass game, and won’t be able to just load the box. BH’s issue will be if Weiss plays up tempo all game, and doesn’t give the BH D a chance to sub or rest. Their tempo can be a killer. They snap the ball with less than 10 seconds gone on the play clock, and catch your D with poor matchups and a tired secondary. I see the winner needing to score in the 40’s at a minimum. Both teams may be in the 40’s! Should be a fun game to watch. Which team gets more possessions may be the key. These are just my observations from watching both teams. I will say Simper knows how to play a shoot out coming from the Cy district. So, the BH staff won’t be caught flat-footed. I’m still going with Weiss. But—barring TO’s—I don’t see it being easy. Weiss is still a young team though. I keep waiting for them to make some youthful mistakes. So far, they really haven’t.'

Im backkkk… just for a post or two. SOC, Randle, and IC, to me, are the top tier teams in the classification. I think we fall into tier 2. Does that mean we can’t win, no…. But it will take a perfect game and pull it out in the end type of situation. I will say this. And I’m a life long PNG fan. I have never seen more ignorance, racism, and utter negativity in my life from the PNG fans. From the crying about open enrollment, gloves, region, coaching, etc…. Suit up and play the game and see what happens. But speak with some football IQ folks. We are in the quarters. A undefeated season so far, great coaching staff, and good little team. Have a QB, RB, and 2 WR, coming back next year. Versus all the negativity, shoot out some positive thoughts.
