This is a bad move for Buna. There are coaches on the staff that have done way worse and said more than Kinne ever did and their job was never taken away from them. This is just a prime example of small town politics in full effect.

You know I almost feel sorry for this crop of Peerats. I mean for the past 20 years their coach has been one of the more well respected coaches in the area and apparently LAST year playing checkers was enough to beat the rest of the district "Chess" players, one of y'alls words not mine. Now all of the sudden this coach couldn't beat himself out of a wet paper back with a GPS attacyhed to his hat and someone needs to throw a life ring to the team. Now don't get me wrong, I look forward to every year against them especially when we beat them like red headed step children but come on, give the boys a break. Yes sir just chalking it up to Hardin being a 3A D-1 and at home in Hornet Stadium. I do agree with John that H-D is looking good and surprising folks, really inexperienced Bobcat team, but young. H-D flys around the ball, it’s exciting to watch. Bobcats should keep getting better. Hardin has a few players that stand out on film. It will be a good game. Go Cats!

I agree. I have been broadcasting EC for the last few years (full time last year). I can say without a doubt that this years EC team is not as good as recent EC teams. So to say they are down would be accurate.

Agree. This could have waited until the end of the season. I don't feel like the kids' best interests were taken into account before this decision was made. I take that back... There's no way possible the kids were even considered while making this decision. However, they picked the right interim for the job in Terrier.

BISD is paying two coaches about $100K each. That's $200K at their disposal. No highschool football coach in the state is making that. With one school BISD could package the AD and HC job together and have their pick of any coach they wanted.

I believe the Wildcats do have great potential to be a competitive team. They play with heart but they have to develop follow through tactics. What's hurting them now is wide receivers and defensive (not wrapping up on tackles). Lastly, they need to mix up plays on offense side of the ball to keep the opponent guessing. That's why they lost the last two games in a close ones.

I would be more then happy to talk football & understand your negative issues you have towards Ned Football coaches & players. Yeah, go tell James Williams the reason Crosby keeps beating him is because we're lucky. Last time they're coming off a 49-0 win over Nederland and this time they go hammer Alief Taylor 47-0 the week after. Meanwhile BH gets destroyed by Mag. West in the opener doesn't even get in the endzone until they pull their starters in the 4th quarter and their fans have the nerve to critique us with the same record vs a weaker schedule. I do think BH shows up this game. They’ve played really good last two weeks, but both teams were terrible especially Baytown Sterling. BH can hang as long as they play all 4 quarters. BH wins on a safety44-42.😂

Yeah, kids were fighting in school 200 years ago. I think this is different in recent years where people gang up and commit aggravated assault or robbery. Sometimes it is probably race based. I never saw any fight that wasn’t 1 on 1.

LP 69 GCM 17 Final Improvement from Game 1 to Game 3 is steady. Lot of LP underclassmen. Looks like entirely different attitude from last year. Back to more of what is typical for LP historically. Retired coach from told me frosh squads were loaded. We’ll see how it goes from here. Right now, I’m pleasantly surprised with how quick they’re picking up the new systems.

Crosby only has three plays. Luckily they work a bit due to their athleticism. Throw right laterally, throw left laterally and chuck it up for grabs down field. Lee has completely shut down any running game. One of the chucks went for a TD after the defender missed the sure INT. Lee is one missed 4th down conversion on 4th and short deep in Crosby's territory away from being up at the half.

I think there's a good chance Lancaster gets Longview this year. I watched both of LV's games with McKinney Boyd and Marshall and Lancaster looks better on the hoof and also faster. LV's QB still forces it to Hale and I think they're running game with Tatum is containable. They're probably smaller than FB Marshall on the defensive line and while they're dbs are highly rated it seems like there's still a good amount of space for receivers to make plays in the secondary if there's a competent QB that can get it to them. On the flip side though, their collection of talent is so great that it really doesn't matter what they have going on right now.

As a youth, during WW-II, she walked the walk, assisting the war effort anyway she could. Essentially rolling up her sleeves and working side by side with her future subjects. Class?
