I mentioned to my wife last night that the TRADITION at PNG is just something special. I hope you guys never change. Just awesome! BTW, the BH fans gave the PNG halftime show hearty applause. Idk what they are doing over in West Orange but we just use the two fields at the Vidor flag and tackle league. It has been an off year for Silsbee no doubt. Can't really put my finger on anything real specific, but I will mention that the 4th Qtr intensity and focus is missing. I think that takes a clear leader on defense, and right now I don't see that. There are several candidates and I'm waiting, patiently for one of them to take the reins. Sidenote opinion:. I would keep in mind that if Silsbee's offense gets back on track I would not want to play them as a #4 seed. The defense has been steady, if not scary at times with talent. I'll see you on the broadcast folks... Jmo

it's fun to hate on BH but I think they will actually pull this one out. I know I previously meme'd about a 4th quarter collapse. I think this one might be a bit too much for the dogs. BH played toe to toe with both Crosby, Paetow, and PAM until the 4th quarter at least. That's a sign of a lot of talent. I think the kids learned two weeks ago that shouting at refs and getting your QB thrown out loses you games. I don't think BH loses versus PNG had they not literally got their QB thrown out of the game. That being said Nederland has not looked very good at all this year. 2 points versus TC? Needs a comeback to beat Silsbee? I don't think BH is particularly good on defense which will matter less if Nederland cannot figure out how to play offense. I think BH offense will score a fair chunk on these dogs, and I think Nederland will need to really turn the corner offensively to win. That being said too many if then statements for Nederland. I'll take BH by 7 and they hold on for the victory. 35-28

I can’t remember if the JV went undefeated last year but I think they won district. If they went undefeated with the little QB under center that we have now on Varsity then he is on one hell of a win streak.

Silsbee has struggled alot on offense and defense all year. They have a hard time holding leads and closing out games. Just a down year for Silsbee.

Lumberton Down in Southeast Texas it’s a two-horse race in 10-4A Division I as Livingston battles with Huffman for the district title, a year ago Livingston won the district but fell in the first round of the playoffs to Chapel Hill. Huffman-Hargrave finished second, but got to the regional semifinals, which tells you that the battles early in the playoffs in Region III will be fun. Vidor and their Slot-T offense gets the nod for third place, while in a bit of a surprise, Little Cypress-Mauriceville under a new head coach gets the fourth place spot.

Someone in white & red was swinging A helmet (I’m sure an Orangefield player gave the ejected player a helmet to swing so that they would ejected. i think all this was fired up because some parents/players/coaches were upset because BC Cheerleaders weren’t announced.
