Let's make this simple. Vidor should go undefeated in district. Huffman has not looked all that impressive in their wins, but Vidor has gone 3-0 with impressive wins against tough opponents. Huffman won't be able to stop Vidor's ground and pound game. I think LCM will be a better bet to challenge Vidor for the DC. My prediction for the district. 1. Vidor/LCM 2. LCM/Vidor 3. Huffman 4. Livingston 5. Lumberton 6. Splendora

I personally do not think Newton will beat WOS, but they will play hard and give WOS a good, competitive game. Newton will do really good in 3A D2 this year and has a chance to beat anyone in the division, but I think WOS will be too much this year. If Newton can keep it close and make WOS work for the win, then this game will give me great confidence in where Newton truly stands. By the way, I am rooting for Newton and hope they win, but I like to be honest with my thoughts and comments. I sure hope this game happens. This is much needed for Newton to prepare for a deep run and to be battle tested by a great team.

My props going out to the Crosby coaching staff. knowing TWO offensive lineman were out with injury with two replacements, Crosby coaching sent the house almost every play. Let it be known it wasn't a four man rush doing it. So good game planning on that front. when we actually handed the ball off to the smaller backs, they were picking up 5 here 7 here. this where memorial coaching gets lost. 21 and 5 should have been fed more up the gut, but they went away from it. again, crosby won the game on great coaching and scheming IMO.

Bottom line is if we don’t make a few changes personnel wise we in trouble. Along with getting a couple of injured players back. Backups not cutting the mustard.

You can go as low as you want to but I would venture to guess in about 80% of the people younger than 30 voted for Biden and other Dems. You can spin it anyway you want it but the 70 to 80 year olds we’re not elected by 70 to 80 year olds.

They ran the inside and outside zone and we basically stuffed it, in the first half especially. The tricky part is they started reading it and the quarterback that's pulling it happens to be going to Army. I'm sure he'll make most secondary guys or weakside linebackers who's responsible for quarterback on zone read pay this year. With that said, as with any year and especially with a new DC, more reps will help alleviate some of the being out of position.

Wish I could post some clips to help your point but it says the videos are too large? PAM struggled to win individual matchups along both lines of scrimmage, the o-line in particular. I’m sure that had something to do with the injuries. To his point about the coaching though, PA actually struggled to block the BH d-line too. They just didn’t have a Casey or Bradley that could finish the pass rush. Pointing fingers at the coaching staff is always the easy way out but when you see how PA looks physically it’s hard to do otherwise.

The evidence that smashing, destroying items is therapeutical is an overwhelmingly "no". Rage is one of the least likely determinants of depression leading to suicide. Most suicidal people are not looking for revenge or driven by rage. There is zero evidence that allowing suicidal people to vent their frustrations will alleviate the psychosis. Simplifying the dynamics of causation of suicide to simple "rage" in need of release has no scientific support. Hate to be a language nazi but a PARODY district would be a bunch of joke teams like Stuffman, Snuff Gulley, Little Children Monsters, Chumperton (as someone likes to say), Losington and Spendmora. I think the word you want is PARITY which means more level or equal in skills. Just saying.

PNG just lost to a decent 6A team. That’s two classifications up. I wouldn’t throw in the towel just yet. Many 6A schools have athletes that’ll make others look slow.

Bay City 2-1 so I expect a tough game, but Vidor will win if they keep playing with heart.

Last week Manvel had a stout RB that was difficult to tackle but their O line was also better. All about matchups, I think all in all though the Defense is playing pretty well. Special teams though, whew!!!! Needs some work!

I find this funny as Livingston struggled early last year as well as struggled against orangefield and still won the district district. New year for all teams but I think huffman and Livingston will battle for that top spot

So when a kid has a pick six its not the coaches? I know i see the secondary coaches going over how to block or not block on a pick. Every aspect of a game comes down to the coach whether its the position coach or the HC!! their teenagers that want direction and want to be coached up. BU had 2-3 players out in the secondary but they accounted for 12 points on a pick and a short field. I know they got toasted near the end of the game but they were coached up in just one day of prep wk since we think its ok to take a 2 hr trip on a Thursday. I can just speak on mine, the DB and safety coaches has developed mine and will continue bc he has built a lifetime relationship with them. They both played at a high level in college so i know he will need some advice from them!! COACHES must be held accountable!!
