I think all our schools in the area have had alot to deal with (covid, storms, etc). I'm proud of all the schools for dressing out and playing with what you got. One thing is true "We are South East Texas Strong!"

And for what it's worth. Being a back up at the 6A level is totally different than being a back up at the 4A DII level. Based on the highlights of the scrimmage, Briscoe looked pretty good. Had he stayed in Silsbee, I could see him pushing Foster for playing time. Particularly with how Foster has played so far.

To be accurate, it was a family move back to Beaumont that has Briscoe at West Brook. Really nothing to do with athletics. Completely a family situation that is much better for him from what I was told.

In a interview one time, a reporter ask him about give about giving 100% everyday and he said " I'M NUMBER 12 SO I HAVE TO GIVE 112% EVERYDAY"

I think you're right about the Eagles being a good 3A team, but I'm not sure that WOS won't have problems out of the gate. I think it'll be a close game that really doesn't indicate what either team is capable of this year.

Vidor Freshman was winning 38 to 7 against LCM when I left in the 4th Qtr. Vidor JV score was 40 to 27 over Bay City.

if you can't move the ball efficiently in a live scrimmage, you got problems!!! defense can only bail you out so far, throwing picks is not a good sign. i don't wanna hear about no covid or hurricane cause WE ALL had to deal with it....starts at the top with the adults...all im saying...

Only 11 players can be on the field at a time. TBH look at some of the better teams and you will find players playing both ways with a lot of players on the bench. The best man plays.

I shot a friend’s FN at the range and hit with it instantly. Very sweet. This one had a 21 round mag. Almost got tired of firing it. Lol. My favorite gun is my S&W 686 (5” barrel) an old standby that I’m pretty good with. I just got the S&W TRR8 .357 mag. I can hit with it but not as well as with the 686. Fixing to purchase some Buffalo Bore ammo for the TRR8. Kinda expensive though. We need to start a gun thread. No lefties will visit that one. Lol

Um, that prestigious program didn't get power until two weeks ago and some of those kids in that prestigious program just came home last weekend to houses that are so badly destroyed that in some cases, they are unlivable. I played for EC in the 75 and 76 game. Never forget the game in 75. Twisted my ankle bad then I ran the wrong route on a pass and Ricky Luquette intercepted it and ran it back about 70 yds for a TD for Lumberton. I got so tired of hearing the band play The Raiders Go Rolling Along!!
