Newton wins tonight if they don't shoot themselves in the foot on 3rd downs with false starts. Coach burnt 2 timeouts when hh didn't need to. Newton had they're chances but could get out they're own way.

Are you serious ? Most of them were false starts that were obvious on the replays. I never saw the Newton coach complain to the refs about any call.

Surratt has a number in his head to reach, so he pulls the starters and give backups time on this big stage….However, whatever, it takes to reach that number or that time on the clock he does….hence the “razzle dazzle” plays. you will now see 2nd team, followed by 3rd and jv/freshmen players….same format we’ve done ALL year.

Incorrect,cheerleaders and others are on them and just rolled out an hour ago,evidently they are making the trip up and back in a day is the reasoning.

I don't know if Newton winning was in the bag if their coaching does things differently. Wall coaches started to panic in the second half and go for the long ball too much. They were consistently killing Newton in the short passing game. They stay consistent and I think they get 1-2 more scores.

A&M plays Kentucky in the national championship on Sunday. The Lady Aggies ( not sure if they call them that) advanced out of their region as a 3 seed, taking out arguably the best volleyball program in the country in the regional final, Nebraska. They took out another 1 seed, Pitt, in the final 4. Now they face their 3rd straight one seed, Kentucky (who beat Wisconsin who beat 1 seed Texas in their regional final) for all the marbles. I have to say, I never watched much volleyball in my life other than occasionally in the Summer Olympics. Didn’t have a kid who played so just wasn’t something I was much exposed to. In the last few years, I have watched several matches in the women’s tournament when I see it on. It’s actually a pretty fun sport to watch. A lot of action and some super athletic women flying around. Good luck to the Aggies (I think it’s their year).

Man, I didn’t want to mention it because I think this is a time to try to be positive but I’m extremely worried about our talent retention? I would hope the UIL didn’t do the most sensible thing and just add Crosby to the current 23-6A and add BH to the current 24-6A but if they did I could see Crosby struggling to retain some of our higher level kids. Prime example will be La’Damien DeFreeze lining up for North Shore in the state title game Saturday. Imagine him on the other side of Jordan this year? That being said, 6A is all about the trenches and all I would rate us is “above average” in 5A-D1. I would think we go back to a true spread to try to limit our disadvantage at the LOS. I think after Robison leaves next year you’ll see more read-option incorporated similar to schemes the previous two coaches ran. We have a couple kids coming who would fit the scheme perfectly. Who runs it, I think he’s going to try to make big hire knowing that’s his most important one? Coach Williams promoted Coach Harrison to DC and I kind of hope defense will be our calling card until we can compete physically on a consistent basis. You’re correct about the kids on offense though, even the big DT that started all 11 games was a freshman. I hope Coach Williams will get us back to looking like we have the talent college recruiters think we do.

Nah, I see a lot of mental gymnastics and justification for these nutso comments Trump made. I can live with “crude”, but this was delusional. I voted for the guy, and I’ll take him over the alternative, but I find it concerning that the person who’s running our country doesn’t have the self control or common sense to not make irrational, unhinged posts on social media. At the same time we’re supposed to trust him to not make irrational, unhinged decisions as president.

I could care less what Reiner or any other of those Hollywood folks have to say about politics or people. They are idiots and not important to me. POTUS is important to me and what he says or does or how he carries himself in the position of the office is important to me. I believe there is a higher standard. At least there should be. Bottom line, Trump was wrong for making those comments. It was completely unnecessary. It's not what I want MY PRESIDENT to do. Show some respect. show some class. It really isn't that hard to do. I hold Trump and any President to a higher standard. That's how it should be.
