Playoffs!

There are no gimmies this week. PAM will be playing a very disciplined well coached CS team and BH will be playing a very athletic PW team. Lufkin as those have said is not a very good measuring stick. BH beat them 35-7 with Lufkin's only TD coming on a 85-yard scamper by Watters, outside of that BH dominated them from start to finish. PW beat Anderson and lost to CS and C A&M, to me PW's best win was against LaPorte which has them fired up and playing well in the playoffs. I think both of these games are toss ups with PAM's chances leaning better than BH's to get to the next round. Either way that's why we play the game. Good luck to BH and PAM.

CS sure does look like AMC on offense, but faster overall and better QB play. It's as if they use the same playbook. Defensively between the 2 it's a PUSH to me. 🤷🏾‍♂️ We'll see how good they really are on Friday Night.

Weiss is tough to defend. They don't just throw long, lower pct. bombs or quick outs. They throw it all over the field to at least 3 excellent receivers, and a RB. They also have a sneaky good run game. Plus, when you get a good pass rush on the QB, he's athletic and quick enough to pick up big yards on the ground. With all the offense, their D gets overlooked. But, they can shut down the run game. La Porte had them shut down. Let them get away. Now, they're on a roll. A lot of confidence. Will be a very tough out. CS & PAM--to me--is more a toss-up. CS QB isn't near as good as Weiss' IMHO. CS needs a solid run game effort. Weiss can win without one. If Weiss gets 100 ypg rushing, that's enough for them. They've also got some really big boys on the lines. Maybe two of the biggest I've seen this year. I'm going with a split. But, PAM is gonna need more than Martin running the ball.

I may not see all of the posts because I'm not on that much so you maybe right. I try and be as objective as I can. Sometimes I probably come off negative. I NEVER pull for our kids to lose. But I know there are those in our community who do. I also know what goes on in the program and I'm pretty sure you know that. The same effort needs to be given before the results happen. That's not happening and people know it. That's a problem and will be until something changes. That's not a complaint by me. It's reality.

It's like some want the team to fail so that he would fail. It's obvious that winning in the playoffs isn't good enough to some.

If you seen the game then you would know that most of those penalties were questionable to say the least. Calls was one sided where you have an obvious pass interference call on one side that wasn't called and one on the other side that was a questionable call.🤔 we did what we came to do as a team. There were some drops but AMC didn't consistantly stop us running to the left. Shout out to the Oline who have been consistant all year....... If #3 can't go, I hope #21 gets some run. I don't like my star DB going both ways. He's needed more on defense....
