51 years since last Distric championship, this team is special. Coaching is fantastic, Boys playing hard week in and week out. Lots of History being made this season for the Hardin Hornets Football Program.

This was a good game to watch. PNG needed a game like this. I gotta give it to the Montgomery coach’s for their defensive halftime adjustments. They completely shut the run game down after getting run over in the first half. Each time when it looked like Montgomery was going to take the game over our coach’s would make a good play call on both sides of the ball. This coaching staff just knows how to win football games! Hopefully we don’t let them get away anytime soon! The catch and run that Jackson made before the half was a huge play in the game. That was one hell of a catch and run. He made up for all of the dropped touchdowns this season on that one play. If he ever gets consistent with his hands, look out because he is fast and can jump! I look for big things out of him in the next couple of seasons. Great job Indian’s!

Not sure who predicted a blowout, but Ill take an 8 point DC win any day, I love this game. A team needs a good hard fought game to get ready for the playoffs. If the radio stats are correct PN-G hung a 500 on them. PN-G hasn't given up over 38 points this season. 38 tonight, 29 to Huntsville and no one else has scored more than 21 this season. An average of 18 ppg. Allowing a total of 166 points. While scoring just under 400. for 44 PPG. Still have a game against Dayton. Looking forward to facing our Purple Brothers from across the river. I believe Coach Joseph is now 50 and 6 as PN-Gs coach and 15-1 in 1 score games. We are very lucky to have the coaches that we do. Also the very impressive QB from Montgomery hasn't threw a pic this season. The Indians put the pressure on him and got two pics. and held him to a QBR of 39,4. Was it the greatest night for PN-G? No. However they played a hell of a game and won against a great football team. Hats off to Montgomery for playing a great football game. PNG-s defense held RB Ben to 105 yards. That in itself is a statement. That kiddo is a hoss.. PNG won this game with pressure the second half causing their great QB to be unable to get set to pass the ball. Great game Indians and hats off to Montgomery for playing a hell of a game again.

This was a playoff game. Hopefully we learned a lot. Defense went through a refiner’s fire tonight. We need to get better from it.

PNG gets the ball to start the 2nd half. I don’t think Montgomery can stop them. PNG just needs to limit Montgomery’s big plays. They have some dudes.

My sophomore year at Hardin we moved from 2A to 3A for the first time. We played our former 2A opponents as non district games and were undefeated going into district. I was a starting LB and I’ll never forget coming from small town Hardin into Beaumont and playing in this huge stadium lol. I think we won 2 or3 district games, I’ll always wonder about “what could have been” if we had stayed 2A that year. Johnny Marsh at QB, Anthony Scott and Daniel Marsh at running backs, man what a team that was. I’m super proud of this years team, way to go boys!!

Next year will say a lot about the program.. 17 starters returning so they should show major improvements.. inexperience won’t be an excuse next year

Very proud of Coach Todd Paine and this Kountze football team. When I saw them at their scrimmage with Hardin-Jefferson, I didn't think the Lions would make the playoffs. I was afraid injuries would do them in with only suiting up about 25 on varsity. They also didn't look all that great in the scrimmage. Now the Lions have an opportunity to really shock the area with a win against Woodville next Friday night. It's a game I am looking at attending. Congrats Kountze Lions. Keep it rolling.

I believe they finished that season at 8-2 and if I remember correctly, Larry Haynes was the QB. Great season Hornets!!

His predictions were wild and his analysis couldn’t have been different than what happened tonight… Montgomery tested PNG tonight. PNG answered the test and stepped up when it matter the most… congrats to PNG home playoff game at the Rez and looks like another District Championship.

Still a game to go against Pasadena. But, feel relatively comfortable saying La Porte will finish up as undefeated District Champion for the 2nd year in a row, and the 3rd Championship in a row between 9-5AD1 & 11-5AD1 since Berneathy’s return in the ‘22/‘23 season. LP is 20-1 in district games in the last 3 years, and 26-8 overall for a 76% win pct. as of tonight. Will probably be 27-8 and 77% after next week. There’s some solid underclassmen coming up in the next few years as well. Simon, Smith, and Wells are all Sophs. Future looks good.

At zero point was this remotely close. And CS only scored because of a questionable pass interference call in the end zone. Hardin dominated from start to finish. Both sides of the field.

Had a PNG fan on fb claiming this one would be a blowout and basically implying I was an idiot because I said Montgomery was going to score some points this game. He claimed they would only score against the PNG backups once the blowout had happened. I hope he’s on here and sees this, and I also hope the Indians figure this out and get the win.

Neither party really wants things to change much. The side no one thinks about. This is $100 billion annually worth of tax payer funds being funneled into our economy and food industry. It’s not just about helping the people.

They’ve clinched #1. Even if they were to lose to KV, they have the tiebreaker over OF. I like your optimism.. but Hardin gets the trophy this year by themselves. Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs.

He really is Teflon Don..... I can't think of another person.....there is no other person that has had so many things thrown at them all at once and ended on on top of every one of them......those 34 felony's will be overturned almost guaranteed.... and they STILL are trying lol

I was at the game last night good job LP Bulldogs!!!! Just in I’m opinion LP has to work on some tackling and wrapping up drills there’s was so much arm tackling last night!!! I told my stepson last night that Angleton hasn’t face any competition until last night and this was the most points they’ve giving up all season!!!
