Arch played okay today. He’s playing like a first year starter. Some mistakes should be expected. The line was terrible, though, and that’s an issue. The problem is he’s been put on such a high pedestal people were expecting him to win a natty this year. I’m worried that instead of getting a chance to progress he’s going to regress due to the unreasonable expectations. I think a healthy Ewers would have them 5-0 right now, but it is what it is. It was always supposed to become Arch’s team this season.

Each year teams tend to take on their own identity. There are several factors that help make that team (returning starters, experience, depth, health, strength of schedule, etc.) To compare apples to apples, the 2022 PN-G team through 5 games was 3-2, and this year's team is 5-0, so it could be argued that it could be the more complete team. We shall see. A state finalist in 2022 and state championship in 2023 would take a "pretty complete team". I believe early indications are the 2025 Indians have as good a chance at getting to the title game as both of those teams.

I believe Delbert Spell was still the DC for Monte Barrows 1st 2 years as head coach 2017 & 2018. ‘17 team went 8-3 , defense was solid, top 2 defense in district, had 2 DB’s that year with 8 picks each, both earned all state recognition, team interception total was like 30, lost in the 2nd rd. to loaded Manvel team. ‘18 defense, top 2 again in district, started season 9-0, finished 10-2 co- district champs, lost in 2nd rd to Marshall. The 2010, ‘11, ‘12 & 13 teams were loaded with strong defenses that won 4 district titles in a row, i believe without losing a district game in that run.

I've been following all year. Happy to feel we have a chance to win almost every game against teams in the FCS. It looks like our "toughest" part of the schedule is in November but every game will be tough. Nicholls already had beaten UIW at home so even with their record they were no pushover. Go Cards!

Arch has never thrown from his ear, but I also don’t recall his throwing sidearmed. You need a very clear throwing lane to sidearm it. A consistent running game would help him a lot.

I don't like doing score predictions but I got us 45-37.

First of all I love PNG football, but I try to be realistic. It looked to me like Huntsville was fixing to beat PNG. I think that there is a timing issue with QB and receivers, several passes in this game and others this year have been 2 or 3 feet off. I think it is going to hurt them against better teams. I don't know if it's true or just my take but it seems like the first year this QB and his receivers were much more precise than what I'm seeing now. It is my opinion that it is a natural talent for a QB to hit receivers on the run, it's something that drills can improve but not produce. To answer Mr BG, I don't think they are the best complete team Coach has had, but I do believe they have a shot at being as good as any of the previous ones.

There is absolutely no reason for anyone to complain or be negative about the state of Lamar football. But the ultimate site "realist"(pessimist) will most definitely find something to whine and complain about. Coach Rossomando is doing a great job.

Again- the game was broadcast on Victory + which is a Television broadcast. Same app to watch the Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers. Exact same app on tv. those were legit TV timeouts. Victory + broadcasts one game a week. Also playoffs if i remember correctly. huntsville had a nice online broadcast as did NDN press, but the main cameras were a legitimate TELEVISION broadcast. the victory + app is free by the way.

I think its tiebreaker chaos for 2nd-4th place regardless. This year PAM is heads and shoulders above the rest. They won't be beat.

After reading alot of this hoop-la and scutter about this game I got to put a plug in for Dayton. First of all Dayton didn't get any free TD's you can't punish a team for playing smarter than the other team. Then you have some peeps say Daytons RB( Foster) isn't really all that ' it just that Neds defense made him look good. For the record this was one of his down games he usually puts up better numbers and thats against 5a1 playoff teams. Dayton came into a hostile environment played hard and played smart and came out with the win and thats the bottom line. You can cry about a snap shot but in the scheme of things Ned got their fair share of good calls too !

Is it safe to say the top 4 teams in this district are now established? Its just a matter of where they finish 1-4? Splendora is dead last, & Ned/Day/West fork duke it out for the non playoff spots.
