As an outsider (with a lot of gray hair), it’s critical for a Superintendent to understand the pivotal role extracurricular activities play in the overall education process. In a single high school town, the extracurricular activities are what the town rallies around. They can bring a sense of pride, which—in turn—brings more community/parental involvement, which breeds more success in academics as well as total well-rounded education. Successful extracurricular teams have historically provided more approved bond moneys than any other school activity. Just academics aren’t even close. Academics are great. But, voters don’t jump up & down & cheer for Johnny & Janet’s 4.5 gpa. It just doesn’t garner the same type of pride—even though it’s fantastic. Those who only focus on academics are just as bad as those who only focus on extracurriculars for not helping their charges reach their full potential. Pride in community is built quickly on successful Friday nights. Don’t underestimate the power of this to get necessary bond money approved for other needed improvements—both academic assistance and otherwise. I wish Crosby luck.

Coach Willis isn't dumb he's not going to get on an interview platform and talk about the negatives of a job he was just hired at...if he did that, he'd be an idiot. He knew what he was getting into and he knew he was walking into a very difficult situation, will he be successful? Time will tell, I cant speak for the superintendent and all the other issues but I feel like all things considered she hired a very good coach

Unless your a fly on the wall during Sunday game planning, and watching it implemented in every practice, 99.9% of people want have a clue , who is the best coached team, especially in a equally talented matched game. The question you should be asking about HF and Jasper, or any matchup for that matter is, Which team has the most and best Coachable Players. Now in an equally talented matchup , 99.9% of the time ,that team will win.

We are so beat up with injuries most starters are pulling full time double duty both ways. Boys are playing hard but big plays are hurting us each game. One thing is for sure they going to go down fighting. Just got to keep grinding and play hard.
