That conflates two issues so badly it’s really quite hilarious. Using someone else’s COSTCO card is like using someone else’s Netflix login. COSTCO is trying to tighten its membership usage. A business decision. The false cardholder is not committing a crime. A voter, however, is committing a crime if they say they are who the card says and are not. That type of criminality was statistically nonexistent BEFORE the voter photo ID craze that is nothing but a red herring to distract from the real effort - making it harder to vote.

That 2017 team was special. Devon is the best out of Silsbee.Againts Dallas Carter in that championship game he was rebounding, playing defense, making steals, throwing dimes, intercepting dimes, etc. And he had a star studded team with him: Bush, Adams, Martin, a host of others. BTW beat FFA. Or was that BU? Maybe it was a fluke. Maybe not. Like Texas Hoops said, BTW is good, but I feel Silsbee is better. I think Miller will play, at least I hope so. If not there are some hungry kids on that team. Sooner or later some of them will step up. It happens on all teams every year.

I just don’t think there will be anyone better in the region. BTW maybe but I still like Silsbee. However, with or without Miller, the “this group will be better than the Adams, McCain, and Bush teams” statements we were hearing a few years ago hasn’t aged well. As I suspected then, was clearly nonsense and based more on wishful thinking than anything else.

I didn’t say they wouldn’t have been better. It makes a difference to lose your two best running backs. I’m saying that runningback play wouldn’t have won them that game. It’s not like they had Bijan Robinson on the sidelines.

Most of us probably have them as a favorite to go to State. That’s thinking they will be pretty darn good.

Heard Onalaska had a great weekend from a friend of mine, that team is on the rise.

The weather is a big advantage, also the fan support. Arkansas, La, Mississippi, Alabama, Carolina all have no pro baseball. If you are a baseball fan in those states, you follow college baseball and the attendance numbers show this. The SEC is pulling the best players from the West coast to come play in the South in front of 10,000+ fans. Stanford averages 1,600 at their games and most of the west coast teams are less than that. The SEC spends money on baseball where as most don’t. The SEC Network has also helped with every game being on TV. Not too long ago, A&M would only have a handful of games that i could watch. Now every single game outside of a few tourney games is on TV for free.

Understood. The conversation began with folks saying PNG should be ranked ahead of LH. The reply was listing the reason/logic why LH was ranked higher. Many folks have applied a set of logic for PNG and something different for LH. For those who want to detract from LH body of work and success as if PNG is something better, is silly. PNG won the game last year convincingly. To say that LH not having their best players did not make a difference is nonsense. LH offense and defense is predicated on successfully running the ball. If RB1 and RB2 are not available, it impacts the whole game. all of the mentioned factors are why LH is currently ranked higher than PNG. BTW, I happily pull for PNG.
